Made this for lunch today from leftover roast chicken. Was delicious in a crusty warm baguette. We didn’t have mango chutney and no mayo, but used what we had- aioli and curry powder mixed in, it was still lovely. Going to add mango chutney and mayo to the shopping list for next week. Thanks Diane for the recipe inspiration!
I tried your way instead of my normal way, I really like the mango chutney, I normally use sultanas and a little chopped apricot with greek yogurt to off set the sweetness slightly but I really enjoyed your version, great video 👌👍📹
👑🐥👑🐤👑🐥👑🐤👑🐥 Not being a Brit, I was sure this was a dish for watching Coronation Street. 😳❤😆😆😆👍 Always looking for more uses of turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, etc. THANK YOU! 🐥👑🐤👑🐥👑🐤👑🐥
Good Morning Diane in Denmark , love watching your show . 30 April 2020 Thursday in Youngstown , Ohio USA 4:30am In Lock down .. Quarantined.. because of the COVID 19 /Coronavirus . Thanks for keeping us together .
I heard Nigella Lawson mention "Coronation Chicken" many years ago, and always wondered what it was, and now I know! Great idea for a low-fuss summer dinner with ingredients that are easy to have on hand. I think it would be nice with your quick dinner rolls, too. Your voice-over cooking videos are a hoot! Wishing you well (from my shelter) in Wisconsin, US.
Looks lovely. I'd always wondered what coronation chicken was! Will definitely try this as soon as I get mango chutney in the shop. You put Delia to shame! Niamh in Dublin
Thank you, I have been wondering about that... I love how simple your recipes are and the fact that you don't act like a stand up comedian or a sexy diva in order to show a recipe.
Another lovely quick recipe, I'm not buying anymore recipe books, will just check out your recipe list from now on!! I'm going to try the creamy pasta later,as I have some left over pasta from yesterday and am so pleased with my instant pot it has made my life loads easier, I cook, pasta, rice fish, curries, so much in it and it doesn't make your house smell either another bonus, especially when cooking fish, thanks again Diane 😻❣ xxx
Yay, that's great, Jay! I used our Instant Pot yesterday to make my Mum's Beef Stew 😃 Here's the link if you want to try it... ruclips.net/video/9YNy3_JF-Ng/видео.html
My son is fixing us Chicken Alfredo for dinner tonight, so I am off the hook! Severe storm is predicted this afternoon with hail, so I do not think it a yard day after all. Since errand day , I will do my indoor at home”errands”, including getting some ironing and phone calls done. Not even a paper clip to declutter at this point of lockdown!
Hi Diane, beautiful as always today. That looks delish ! Love these voice over videos.. It is so green outside there..is it still cold? It is 105 today, our heat is very early, we skipped spring, or at least we had 2 weeks of it.. we have to get up very early to walk outside with the dog, and do chores. Keep up the great videos for us, you are such a breath of fresh air!
I’ve heard of Coronation chicken but being American, never had it. I was thinking it was a hot dish, like our king ranch chicken lol! This looks really yummy and easy. I love all things curry. I eat keto/low carb, so your recipe would be easy for me to adapt. Thank you!
Thanks for sharing the Wiki link. It looks so good, will have to make us some! Have a great day! I love that continue with the filming even when you have to do a voice-over. I feel like you would be GREAT at Charades! :)
I didn't have mango chutney in my pantry but decided to use what I had which was orange marmalade, plain Greek yogurt and a bit of sour cream. It came out delicious and worked out well with the curry powder. I will definitely try the chutney in the future but I remember how Diane always mentions to work with what you've got!
@@tigon7473 I must admit I would never have thought about using marmalade, but I could see how that would work, I have everything except yogurt, so off to the store for me ☺️🍗🍊🍚👌

Looks yummy, is coronation chicken the one that can include raisins too?
Yes, lots of different ways of making it (apricots, raisins, slivered almonds)! 😊
Diane in Denmark thank you 😊
Very much like "chicken salad." I would love to try mango chutney?! I have not seen chutney in any grocery store though???
Try the Indian section 🖖

Coron(avirus)tion chicken!!! Bpn appetit!! Stay safe!!!
😂😂😂😂😂😂 genius, I really hadn't noticed! Too funny!
I was just waiting for someone to say that! We've been calling it Corona Chicken recently 😄
When I saw the recipe the first think that came to my mind is this. Go you Diane.
Lol, at first glance I thought your title said Corona chicken!
We've been calling it that for several weeks! LOL!
I just put mango chutney on my shopping list minutes before I watched this. SCARY!👻 Anne😄
Perfect! 👏😄
God morning sunshine
Where are the sultanas! They're the best bit 😂
LOL! You can have them all to yourself, Natalie! My family doesn't like them in salads or hot dishes 😄
Haha yep, they are lovely with it, and a little bit of chopped apricot goes well with the sultanas and the chicken 😋🍗👌
You are sooo cute 🥰🥰
