    Hey whats good, i'm Richard from the Bahamas and i started my printing company and i find your videos very helpful. it's really a struggle for me because we don't have any company here that sells any screen printing supplies and it's very expensive to keep up with these big companys. Keep up the good work.

    Tried wet on wet the other day for a 6 color job and it turned out great. Tried again on a 3 color job and was all smeared and the inks had a wierd texture once all inks had been printed. Wondering now if I simply messed something up in the beginning and should have wiped everything down to try again. Any advice?

    POLY INK- Unions COSMIC POLY INK is pretty good. I use it on my auto.

    Thank you for the video...im wondering if the wet on wet build up on the screen becomes a problem and what you can do about it. Simply wiping it off doesnt clean it good enough. Do you have any more advice on that?

    • @ThePrintLife
      @ThePrintLife  4 года назад

      I'm not the best with wet on wet. The best advice is to test everything for yourself. With that said the higher the mesh count the lower the deposit of ink. This results in less build up on the bottom of the screen. That is a good place to start. from there try cleaning the build up dry and see if it leaves residue for you when you print. If it does try using plastisol press wipe, and see how bad the residue is with that. Lately we have been using press wipes, they are similar to baby wipes but for plastisol ink. Works soooo good.

    What is the roller deal you roll on the shirts after being placed on pallets?

    So which do you like printing on? The Sidewinder, or the Thunder?

    • @ThePrintLife
      @ThePrintLife  4 года назад

      They a very similar presses, in function, but the thunder is way lighter the throw the pallets and screen, during longer runs that is a huge deal. I also like the micros on the thunder better, however I acknowledge that my sidewinder was old and beat to shit so its not a fair comparison.

    20 inch wide screens are NOT really wide enough on a SIDEWINDER or any other press with 16 inch wide pallets. Many times the side arms are rubbing on the edges of the pallets underneath causing the screens to be nudged out of register. The screen frames need to be 22 inches wide. Call me crazy! I've been crazy for 31 years learning all of these glitches.

    • @ThePrintLife
      @ThePrintLife  4 года назад

      interesting note. We use auto sized screen but I never thought about that it would also rub the shirts.
