Carnival Corporation, owners of Princess Cruise Line, are usually good about refunds for missed ports-of-call.

Unless they were expecting rough seas as the day progressed? Jerry our meteorological expert would have been on it I'm sure. Happy to see you were able to secure seating in your secret spot. Congratulations Melissa and Paul! That was very special. Love seeing the dinner menus, gives us an idea what to expect on a Princess cruise. Well, not much you can do about the weather or what port authorities decide for what ever reason, so might as well take what comes one way and make the absolute best of it anyway! Gotta make fun when on vacation no matter what! Looks like all turned out nice!
If Mr Canucks is a bit into gaming I recommend the audiobook Ready player one, Wil Weaton does a superb performance and the book is way better than the movie.

We didn’t get refund with missed ports in Mediterranean but did in the Caribbean which seem strange since it was the same ship.

Most ships have certain shows assigned to them. Did you see Fantastic Journey while on there? We hear that show is usually on that ship.
