KAYAKS: From Solano County Water Agencys website: Hand launched watercraft with electric motors like fishing kayaks, require an inspection prior to launch. Non-motorized watercraft, such as kayaks and paddleboards, are not subject to inspection, are encouraged to be inspected for free at any watercraft inspection station, or if you are instructed to do so by trained staff at popular launch locations. All paddlers are encouraged to arrive Clean, Drained, and Dry.
Nice info. Thank you much. Never been to Sweeneys . But I know about you. I usually buy bait and equipment at Berryessa bait and market. I don't have a boat I fish from the shore near damn
The problem I see is float Planes fly in all the time who is checking them out? And What about all the rubber boats, Game Warden and sheriff boats, what's good for use is good for them.
Can these mussel eggs, larvae whatever the tiny subadult stages are called be transported by natural means? Stuck to the feathers of wading birds, waterfowl, seagulls etc that feed, bathe and travel without boundaries?

Very informative video sir! Thanks for taking the time to pass along this information 👌 Not sure what will be worse for the industry and local economies, the mussels or the process!! I'm probably wrong but this seems like paranoia! Impossible to stop evolution 🧬

yeah what about kayaks and JON boats that we just throw on are car tops or truck beds Also what about fishing gear those muscles are microscopic at start they can attach themselves to gear as well and live 30 days out of the water.panicking even before testing a lake is beyond dumb and typical of california government TEST the launch ramps if the muscle is anywhere it would be there not hard to figure out california.california not even smart enough to test these ships before they come in.this is a panic by goverment what ever happened with the zebra and quagga muscle ?Nothing what we did for them is working or did we even need to do anything in the first place was it about money another way to drain the ppl of california spell check keeps correcting me with a C for california but it doesnt deserve it lol!
Shocking development!
THANK YOU for the update.
