For some reason, this story has the making of a Point-and-Click adventure game. Control Vinyl as she solves puzzles around the mansion, learn clues and items to get around obstacles all to save her friend. ^^' Lovely piece as usual Scribbler!
actually there is already a point and click horror adventure game with Octascratch, but its Octavia who collect items, slove puzzles and avoid ghosts and a zombie while she tries to save Vinyl from a Necromancer
Everyone involved in this story did a wonderful job. My favorite part is 29:33 Charge. I really enjoyed that. 51:16 getting eaton by a rug snake wow that was crazy. Keep up the good work everyone. Have a wonderful Spooky Day Scribbler.

All right, I've been dying for an audible reading of this. IMO, Pen Stroke doesn't get enough attention, outside of the Nyx-verse. I'm starting to think that I should tackle "Better Living Through Science and Ponies" myself, as a first audible reading project.
OMG that was amazing Scribbler I just came up with an awesome idea for a story and Vampiolence inspired me basically my own head canon on how Vampiolence was going to end but then turned into its own story , so I'm going to come up with my own villain and I'm going to write this ,Thank you for the inspiration Scribbler.
It would have been even creepier if Ruby Note had pretended to be Octavia telling Vinyl that she was fine. Vinyl would slowly start to notice as the weeks went on until Ruby note couldn't take Vinyl' s rough personality. Then it became a battle of life or death.
With guiti's voice and the prose there-in, did anyone kinda think this felt like it could have been written by (alexander) Knox from Tim Burton's "Batman"? They say he drinks blood. They say he cant be killed. That he's not human...

Yes, in order to keep the authorities from noticing; they'd be bound to ask questions about a series of completely different ponies all having the same name over centuries but each just being a new member of the 'Note' family wouldn't seem as unusual.
@@rhazien2502 We are now we are in the "Medieval Remix" or Bardcore and the Cyberpunk/80's Synthwave/Rock era. That "oh it's the 20's again" thing lived and died in the same year as the virus became less an epidemic and more a pandemic (2020) thus heralding in the "Medieval" of the modern era and the Renaissance of sorts and change in all aspects of internet and societal culture era all because of a super virus killing the planet. I started writing a fictional story about mixing those two themes together called, Science Fantasy. Think D&D but with space themes and cyberpunk with all the fantasy races like elves, Orks dwarves, but not everybody lives the technological life, some are still tribal or have an atomic view of family and culture while others live in massive cities others in flat wastelands and they be more "Traditional" or 'Mad Max' or 'Fallout' style. Lot of political influence from the Legion in NV, they are my favorite faction BTW and I more appreciate the Frontier outcast beliefs of the Legion cause they like tech and still "Ave true to Caeser.") Heavy influences by novels like 'Neuromancer', 'Snow Crash' and Fantasy like the 'Peter Grant Series, and 'The Loney Werewolf Girl.' Also, I am Pagan and Native American by Ancestry, so I use a lot of Nordic/Saxon things or concepts mixed in there because of my MC to further her "Draconic Nature", background and buff up her knowledge of stuff and battle. Hurdy Gurdy, Berserking, War Mage, and Barbarian. No weaps no prob. Main character is a living siege weapon for she can change her size and weight at will much like Envy in FMAB.
