A really nice sound, Mimi. There is something special about the acoustic guitar. Electric guitars have their place, but the acoustic has a certain magic. When I was younger I had an acoustic but could only play chords. You can really play your guitar and it was brilliant. Thank you for your video. @@krisfrederick5001 yes they are. All I wanted for xmas was play this song.
It’s actually pretty interesting chords wise.
@@mimisounds2843 as you know, from having learned it, it’s actually more challenging than the average 3 chords and the truth kind of guitar song. The Eb which I found easiest to play as a C shape at the 6th fret, also had at least 3 other voicings that sounded good. I’m not sure if you have an elf hat, but you are welcome to jam it with me at my mums house after xmas lunch.
Our band played that slade christmas song as a set finisher last Christmas and the crowd went mental. Do it. People at local bands gigs want fun, not to see some deep art.

I really want an acoustic like that, one with nice wood that isnt insanely varnished beyond an inch of its life and a nice small comfortable size (not sure what size it is, you look quite small so that makes the guitar look bigger)

Seems like a nice acoustic guitar. Unfortunately Orangewood only sell online direct to customers through their website and only ship within the USA and Canada, so you won't get one if you're outside those territories. Their website does say that they're "working hard on expanding (shipping) to other countries".
