I give Bing his due. I don't think he is best entertainer, but s top 10, yes. I have him blowing on a mint Decca circs 50s. Too cool. This Miles Davis infatuation is a joke. Bing and Louis were singing jazz in the 30s when Miles was still a punk.
Anothet thing. Gil Evans wayyyy overated. Not even in the league of a Gigi Gryce or Strayhorn or even Devol.
