Paul Anderson is so underrated man, he plays probably the most difficult man to portray on Peaky Blinders. He’s like a dozen different personalities in one.
What I love about with Peaky Blinders is that it is stuffed with good actors and actresses. Polly, Arthur, Michael, Tommy, Aberama, Luca, Alfie etc. are spectacle. If other series have good stories, Peaky Blinders have the best characters.

I wish John Shelby's actor didn't leave. I doubt all the mess ups of the later parts of the series would have happened if he was still around. He was like Arthur minus the crashes, definitely more reliable by that point. Some might disagree, but the way John was portrayed, he had the potential to take over Arthur's role in the company... The writer was forced into introducing the Linda fallout arc to give Arthur a reason to combine both John and himself.... John had a lot of room to grow, and it sucks that the actor didn't feel that way. Michael's new character also makes no sense, he always liked and looked up to Thomas.
John Shelby's mess ups are what led to all of the conflicts of Season 4 (the Adrian Brody season). First of all, he ended up picking that fight needlessly with the Changretta's. He and Arthur then failed to kill Changretta's wife, which is understandable because she was their schoolteacher and they had fond memories of her... but she is also the one who told her son Luca to kill Tommy last because it would hurt him the most to have to see all of his loved ones die before him. So they should have killed her, just like Tommy ordered. But it was John's actions that led to the conflict with the Changretta's to begin with. That being said I do wonder if he would have made the same mistake that Finn did in this last season. There's dumb and then there's doing what Finn did which is just unforgivable levels of stupid. His big mouth ruined everything.
They had to kill someone to show that Luca changretta was a real threat and John was indirectly responsible for the fight with the Italians AND the actor who played John wanted to leave. OFC they killed him
tom jens his character wasn’t getting enough development and he had loads of projects he wanted to pursue that he couldn’t if he continued in peaky blinders
Thomas, Polly, Arthur and Ada. Honestly I love them all. Tom Hardy as Alfie! I could go on and on. Thank you Peaky Blinders for having a character like Polly. A flawed strong sexy adult woman! Love her character.

I have two favourites.... Polly and Alfie Solomons. I work in an art supply shop and recently met Helen McCrory when she popped in with her children. She was not particularly friendly but I still love her PB character.
Paul Anderson is such a good actor. I remember when I first saw him in Sherlock Holmes, he had very few lines but he was so memorable and scary and charming in that role.
This production is full of passion and all of us are swept away. It is a tribute to the extraordinary talent of the writer and his perfectly chosen players, all of whom have contributed to make this a beautiful story loss, and gain and loss and gain.....and in the end, hopefully justly deserved peace. Please don’t leave us with broken hearts. We love you all.

I absolutely love Cillian Murphy as Thomas Shelby! Peaky Blinders is the first I'd ever seen him in anything.. He is so very talented and I love his accent while he's acting but I also love his beautiful Irish accent too! He is an amazing actor and his charisma is out of this world! I also love Polly Gray, Helen McCrory! She plays such a bad ass woman! And I think she is so beautiful! I first saw her in Penny Dreadful and wow! She is so talented! I love both of these shows so much! I've started looking for all the movies, shows and plays with these two in them bc I can't get enough! I totally spaced that Helen McCrory played a part in Harry Potter! Which is in my top 10 list! I wish I could tell them myself how much I look up to them! 💯

The guy who plays Mosley really did a great job. It says a lot when an actor can both make you hate their character but actually like them as actors at the same time. He reminds me almost of Iwan Rheon from Game of Thrones, who played Ramsay Bolton who I still think is the most twisted and evil character in anything that I have ever seen, movies or otherwise. All credit to the actor, though, who seems like the nicest guy in the world in interviews.
I absolutely love Tom Hardy as Alfie. He's genius and with such talented writer's to grant him access to be his best, Alfie is just a tremendous performance. But let's get real, they are all awesome. Sure miss Polly. That was so heartbreaking, I think even more so for fans of Damien Lewis. What a genuinely lovely family.

Aww Cillian Murphy's story is the English version of Johnny Depp's story... I honestly don't know how Cillian Murphy wasn't more famous worldwide until now. He's an incredible actor. Although Tom Hardy is probably my favorite actor of all time.
I love this show, all the characters are perfect for their roles, Arthur and Tommy are great as well as Polly and the rest, they are all talented and pleased they put my City of Birmingham on the map, feel so proud of this series and the way the actors portray how it was in Birmingham back then, their accents are spot on too.
Over time these characters absolutely grow on you till you end up missing them all. Brilliant…. Love to see them all back, perhaps in a similar project… wowed me till end.
