Also the detail on the cars are extremely polished. It's quite beautiful. While it's nice to appreciate incredible landscapes while driving like in The Crew and Forza series, IMHO I prefer way more details on the car, lighting and feel.

sorry i hope i didnt mislead you of thinking i tried career mode yet in GTS. From what ive been seeing its just missions based not career based where you get different licenses, earn credits and buy different cars and beat different levels (like the previous games). the thing which made me hooked onto GT6 was their seasonal events which got updated every month and you'd get cool prizes like a nice paint colour. it looks like polyphony are just focusing more on the online aspect which isnt bad but for single player players like me makes me wonder wherever to get the game or not.

I like the visuals of GT. They're made to be realistic. Unlike what everyone says, I think Forza attempts to over do it and make the colours unrealistic to accommodate it's children filled play ground. I appreciate the aim for realism even in the colours.
Always will be the best looking simulator. The shine of the cars look so real they put so much effort into realistic modelling the cars they look awesome.

Andy Raposo Rubio We are talking about GTSport not GT5. Tracks are laser scanned now. All the cars have full interiors now. Physics is more realistic now but doesn't beat Assetto in terms of it. All the cars have been modeled to absolute precision. Car sounds have changed and have gotten better. Chase camera can be tweaked and most importantly the AI and penalty have made the game much more realistic in Online multi-player than FM7 because players are respectful and try to drive clean and properly. And also this game is for the PS4 and FM7 is for XBONE. Like you would think everyone in this comment section about a game on PS4 would have an XBOX.

Andy Raposo Rubio DC still looks better if not as good as FM7. DC is more dynamic than FM7. DC has volumetric clouds, dynamic time/weather. Rain reacts realisticly. Sounds more realistic. No shortcutz were used. Everythig from road to mountains in the background is Solid and not a picture. You can go upclose and see details in the brakes/logos/CarbonFibre/leaves/trees/sparks and more. Get the camera in the right angle and you see realistic reflection and light bouncing of the headlight to make a rainbow. What does FM7 got? Bouncy window wipers when going 100km/h. WOW. A car(Lexus NX200t) IRL can go 120km/h in heavy rain (trying not to crash) and not have bouncy window wipers. RPM stays stable not bouncing around from 8000 to 2000 to 4000 out of nowhere. What im trying to say most of FM7 is not realistic. FM6 did it right. Find a video of FM6 and FM7 side by sde it looks like they recycled FM7.
Kalmer yeah the demo was rock solid! Gorgeous graphics, even on my standard PS4. The menus, tracks, cars, online lobbies, all worked flawlessly and great attention to details. You can feel their love for cars and racing! BTW, GT Sport is releasing on October 17 in US! Cheers

For all GT fans that remember the massive content on the old games... Unfortunately this game is nothing like what you'll remember. It's a new direction. So don't expect more than 100, 200 cars before FREE DLC and probably after the FREE DLCs. So forget project cars because let's be real it's not that amazing. We're just settling down because GT aren't doing what we expect of them which is to make a massive car filled multiple tracked stunning looking game... Which they CAN do but HAVEN'T HERE. Just my opinion (GT fan since GT2)

No career mode - no modifying your car and working your way up through amateur cups to the pro's - only 150 careers at launch is disgraceful, don't believe everything the devs promise. It looks stunning but for me one of the main appeals of Gran Turismo games was the ability to drive cars I actually had a chance of owning in the real world. 4 of my last 5 cars have featured in the game and for me it's more fun to modify and tweak a digital version of my actual car than a £1 million racing special. I hope there's going to be a "proper" GT along at some point soon.
I'm actually so torn up between getting a Switch or PS4. Do I want the Switch for great games like Splatoon 2 and Mario Kart 8 that I can even play outside the home, or do I want the PS4, which isn't portable, but has what seems to be the greatest racing game I'll ever get my hands on... It's a difficult choice.

GT is simulator how come people can get a racing license just playing GT if it isn't? I have a gaming PC but please GT Sport seems like a quality game and the reason I haven't bought iRacing or Assetto Corsa is because there's always something bad about them like graphics are pretty basic or you have to pay for cars. At least GT Sport is a solid GAMING experience. I don't care if it's not 100% accurate but it sure as hell is accurate enough to be enjoyable to play on a wheel.

Martim LOURENÇO this is only the prologue. But I decided I will buy it so they can keep making more development and then make gran turismo 7 which is the complete one basically.
What content is actually here for single players? I know they have overly glamourised tutorials (which have now been broken up into Tests/Drills/Challenges/Missions) but there is no longer a career mode, the multitude of licenses & garages of previous GT's and so far it seems to be all about online & e-sports. I have an unreliable internet connection and no interests in e-sports, so what is there for me?
Ml PSH that's why I'm staying away from this - it's focus is solely online - nothing for the fans of the series that grew up playing the career mode, starting in amateur cups and working your way up, tuning and modifying your car - there's no depth or substance to this game
That was the heart of Gran Turismo for me. Plus I find that playing online, well its not always the most pleasant experience unless your playing with friends. None of my friends play GT though. I don't understand why they decided to ignore single players. The game will probably still be successful but i bet they'll be a lot of unsuspecting and disappointed people.

MY SUGGESTIONS, I PLAYED GT 1-6: Gt has suffered from only offering dated models of cars and having poor selection choices and while this is an improvement in many regards (like omitting pointless cars, and standard cars which was truly and utterly shameless thing to have been doing in the first place) i still see issues and they are as follows: veryon and not chiron (2009 based version not 2017 based version). 2014 gt3 rs but not gt2rs 2017. 991.1 911s but not 991.2 991s (2012 based versions not 2017 based versions). 650s but not new 720s and 570s. 458 but not 488? (cant be srs). no agera rs? AND Are you really going to omit the production cars that set nurburgring records you jackasses? Where is the 918 spyder? gt2rs 2017? huracan perfomante? adventador SV? 911 gt3 2017 (7:12), amg gtr!?!?! zonda R? AND how about other things people want to drive like: 911 turbo s, r8 v10 plus, p1!!!, huayra, mclaren f1, carrera gt, enzo should be included!!!

I been fan of gran turismo since 2001 and I love all the games, even I have GT1 and 2 for ps1, but I never felt the need to buy the demos, and sport looks like a huge demo, so this time I went for Project Cars and I'm very happy with it!!!! :)

The different "N" groups are just different power/performance brackets for production cars.
I imagine you would have the upgrade capabilities of GT6 and the cars would just jump categories to replace PP limits.
I think it will have typical GT tuning, but no gimmicks like engine swaps, etc as other games.

Sounds pretty old atleast if desktop, but ofc sensible new one is close to one thousand eur. + a gamepad if no xbox.

Not a fan of the concept cars appearing in the real world classes.
Concept cars are in the real world all the time. And in the game they are put under a different showcase room away from the real cars.
Car list is lacking. Hopefully we get the rest of the cars we got to play with in the past in future updates. With great detail if I might add.

its actually not quiet true, gt5 had roundaboud 200 Cars, new cars i might add, the rest where gt4 Ps2 Models.

For all GT fans that remember the massive content on the old games... Unfortunately this game is nothing like what you'll remember. It's a new direction. So don't expect more than 100, 200 cars before FREE DLC and probably after the FREE DLCs. So forget project cars because let's be real it's not that amazing. We're just settling down because GT aren't doing what we expect of them which is to make a massive car filled multiple tracked stunning looking game... Which they CAN do but HAVEN'T HERE. Just my opinion (GT fan since GT2)

No career mode - no modifying your car and working your way up through amateur cups to the pro's - only 150 careers at launch is disgraceful, don't believe everything the devs promise. Bollox, the "DLC" will just be a few extra cars to download - this game is an over hyped demo, there's no substance to it at all - it's focus is solely online racing - no thanks

It looks stunning but for me one of the main appeals of Gran Turismo games was the ability to drive cars I actually had a chance of owning in the real world. 4 of my last 5 cars have featured in the game and for me it's more fun to modify and tweak a digital version of my actual car than a £1 million racing special. I hope there's going to be a "proper" GT along at some point soon.

I'm actually so torn up between getting a Switch or PS4. Do I want the Switch for great games like Splatoon 2 and Mario Kart 8 that I can even play outside the home, or do I want the PS4, which isn't portable, but has what seems to be the greatest racing game I'll ever get my hands on... It's a difficult choice.

GT is simulator how come people can get a racing license just playing GT if it isn't? I have a gaming PC but please GT Sport seems like a quality game and the reason I haven't bought iRacing or Assetto Corsa is because there's always something bad about them like graphics are pretty basic or you have to pay for cars. At least GT Sport is a solid GAMING experience. I don't care if it's not 100% accurate but it sure as hell is accurate enough to be enjoyable to play on a wheel.

What content is actually here for single players? I know they have overly glamourised tutorials (which have now been broken up into Tests/Drills/Challenges/Missions) but there is no longer a career mode, the multitude of licenses & garages of previous GT's and so far it seems to be all about online & e-sports. I have an unreliable internet connection and no interests in e-sports, so what is there for me?
Ml PSH that's why I'm staying away from this - it's focus is solely online - nothing for the fans of the series that grew up playing the career mode, starting in amateur cups and working your way up, tuning and modifying your car - there's no depth or substance to this game
That was the heart of Gran Turismo for me. Plus I find that playing online, well its not always the most pleasant experience unless your playing with friends. None of my friends play GT though. I don't understand why they decided to ignore single players. The game will probably still be successful but i bet they'll be a lot of unsuspecting and disappointed people.

MY SUGGESTIONS, I PLAYED GT 1-6:
Gt has suffered from only offering dated models of cars and having poor selection choices and while this is an improvement in many regards (like omitting pointless cars, and standard cars which was truly and utterly shameless thing to have been doing in the first place) i still see issues and they are as follows:
veryon and not chiron (2009 based version not 2017 based version).
2014 gt3 rs but not gt2rs 2017.
991.1 911s but not 991.2 991s (2012 based versions not 2017 based versions).
650s but not new 720s and 570s.
458 but not 488? (cant be srs).
no agera rs?
AND
Are you really going to omit the production cars that set nurburgring records you jackasses?
Where is the 918 spyder? gt2rs 2017? huracan perfomante? adventador SV? 911 gt3 2017 (7:12), amg gtr!?!?! zonda R?

Okay, someone please explain to me, is this a fully fledged GT game? Coz I see some comments saying it's more like GT prologue on PS3 with the focus on online racing. Is that the case? Should I just get Project Cars 2 instead? Coz waiting for GT 7 will probably take another console generation. Lol. Plus, no Xbox, so I can't get Forza 7. :( What's the general feeling towards this game from the Sim Racer Community? I need help. What's the target audience for this game?
MultiRevamp GT sport is a spinoff not a main GT title and there will be cars added to the game for free.
If you are using a controller definitely don't get Project CARS 2 over this.
I been fan of gran turismo since 2001 and I love all the games, even I have GT1 and 2 for ps1, but I never felt the need to buy the demos, and sport looks like a huge demo, so this time I went for Project Cars and I'm very happy with it!!!! :)
Are you playing Project Cars 2 with a controller? The 1st one kinda turned me off coz of how it handled with a controller.
