    That's great. I understood some of the lines - most remarkable since I just started learning Portuguese a month or two back. Glad there were no English subtitles or I wouldn't constantly looked at that instead of what you read. Very nice to read and hear Maria and Francisco's story.

    Soy mexicano y estoy estudiando portugués de Portugal, gracias a los avances que he hecho en mis estudios pude entender entre un 75 y 85% de todo lo que se dijo en esta historia. Desde luego, creo que mucho ayudó que la lectura fuera pausada.

    Well during covid I stayed in and started to learn Portuguese with a preference for Brazilian but I have been listening to the accent as well and I can understand about 85% of the story. It’s amazing. I also love you don’t drop all the vowels. EP is very nice sounding with the chiados without the dropping of un accented vowels. Vogais sao muito importante para un bom som. Brigado.

    I can understand the story almost perfectly because I can speak Spanish and I’ve studied Portuguese a little bit. But when it comes to speaking Portuguese...I can’t

      Just listen to native speakers speaking to each other, and then try to imitate us. If you want I can help you.

      Wow! I started learning Portuguese in 2020. I had to learn Spanish at school this year and last year. It has been really easy for me! The teachers were nice, but I think another big part of it was how I already knew some Portuguese. I'm really happy about that because I love having an excuse to learn another new language!

      Olá! A pronúncia é diferente. Comeram tem stress na sílaba "me", e comerão tem stress na sílaba "ão". :)

      I don't think so. It's a topic of debate, but I would say Italian is probably the closest.

    What level do I have if I understand everything but have no idea how to write it or say it? lol (Native Italian speaker and Spanish C2 speaker).

      Well, you're probably a C1 or C2 in the passive skills (reading, listening) and another level in the other skills. :)

      @@Portugueselab como é que se pode ter casado "eventualmente". Acho que quer dizer "finalmente. "Eventualmente " não tem esse significado em português (com tem em inglês "eventually"). Em português "eventual" significa casual; fortuito; possível mas incerto

    Porque é que insistem em fazer diferença do Portugues falalado no Brasil o em Porrugal. Nunca vi isso em nenhum outro pais, os Ingleses nao o fazem, assim como os Americano, Australianos, Canadianos etc. Os Franceses a mesma coisa assim como noutros paises. Isso é saloíce
