I have been seeing your videos for the last 2 days and subscribed and liked it without any hesitation. Additionally I wanted to give the comment that it is almost the dream materials I have been looking for sometime. Please continue focusing on daily conversations and phrases that in my experience has been the fastest, easiest and most efficient way of learning European Portuguese. Muito mutio obrigada!
Hi, I'm Brazilian azilian, so I watched this video, it has words in English, I'm very happy because there are many people learning Portuguese, I'm trying to learn English, I have been studying for 8 months. Uma dica: se voce for homem voce Sempre fala "obrigadO" e se voce for mulher voce sempre ira falar "obrigadA".
I moved to Portugal 3 weeks ago with my wife, she's a dual citizen, her whole family lives in a mountainous northern village. I've been trying to learn so i can joke and converse with her family- especially her grandpa and grandaunts and uncles. I'm at the point where im starting to recognize common words but i still dont know what they're actually saying. (And, I refuse to slip into the ex-pat social scene here in Arcos de Valdevez, so far ive noticed most of them are just spoiled adults who make snide comments about the locals and refuse to learn the language, truly concerning how they all assume im just a fellow rich guy who moved here for the view). I digress, 'Claro' is something i hear a lot at cafés and have never known what it meant. I'm so relieved to have this video "fall on my lap." My wife says it all checks out perfectly, and whats best for me is that you break apart the syllables and spell it out. Thank you, it'll be difficult, but, i determined on becoming fluid within the year so i can work in labor without the risk of injury due to miscommunication. Thank you Thank you Thank you.
Well done e Obrigada.❤️❤️❤️🇬🇬🇵🇹
I have been trying to learn European Portuguese and I think I’m making a little progress. What really helps is being in Portugal. There are words everywhere and many people speak English well or a little, and like to teach me, it’s so touching,
Yep, think of the o in “claro” in Spanish or how you’d say “oh” in english and it will be close- this messed me up when I started learning Portuguese- I was pronouncing words with ou like “ew” which was totally wrong 😂
No! Do you you know that 80% of portugese content on the internet is Brazilian, and for those of use Europeans that want to learn Europeans Portugese it’s a nightmare because it’s soooo hard to find even good Europeans text books that every Euroortugese video is a God-send! Enough Brazilian!

This is great. I like European Portuguese but I wish these were Brazilian dialect. But they are great. Its great to hear the sounds in Portugal.

@@leosharman8630 true I'm learning Portuguese on Duolingo it's Brazilian. Btw I wonder do people in Portugal use Tu instead of voce?
@@luthert657if im correct você and tu are both used, você is formal and tu is informal
i could be wrong so please correct me if i am 😭😭
@@zellasteria man idk. Been learning from Duolingo almost two months I'm afraid I can't speak or understand European tone now
@@luthert657 dam man 😔
So ''estou'' is pronounced ''esto'' not ''estoU? The ''u'' is silent? 🤨
Correct!!😊😊😊
Who chose these phrases? In my opinion, they’re pretty useless.
Why is that?
