Other day we got to see your legs.....today we get to see your farmer tan. You trying to increase the women folk viewers? I will forever love the scary house episode where the baby buzzards where up stairs ( the run down home). Best episode ever! We wish you health ( you AND fam).
@@mischafellner2892 is that the one where you actually see a shadow guy through the window on the other side of the building because if so that was some real super crazy paranormal stuff
Have you ever heard of the North Flowing Licking River????? There's only two rivers in the world like it the other one I'm sure you've heard of it's called the Nile I know there was a lot of Civil War activity at the mouth of the licking I don't know how much activity south on the river was though I'm sure a little research you could find out
Chigg, could you do a update on your sunglasses fence? Maybe more videos of cleaning, and sealing relics? I love the videos of the cannon ball restoration/sealing. Either way, thanks for another awesome video!
Aquachigger is a real man in today’s world. I’m sure he’d rather not be bit by rabid vermin, but he’s not going to let it scare him off the river. He finds stuff, good stuff, again and again. I’d like to see him search the river by Fort Upper Tract. But, honestly, I’m just here for the wobbly kitten and Fiona.
The little nipple thing on the end of the mini ball can happen when your ram rod doesn't have the blunt loading tip attachement screwed in. When it is super cold out and your barrel is super hot after a shot...the projectile is extremely difficult to load...cool video chig!
Make some water pants and somehow secures like two or three layers sheets of aluminum he pretty much needs Iron Man's bottom half of his suit be safe out there you never know when you'll be attacked by zombie beavers
Mr, Ghig, With all the Civil War stuf displayed at your house, that sword basket MUST become a coat hook! It''s just...There's no way around it. Do it right though. Mount it on a slab of some kind of special wood. Don't just nail it to the wall. Then maybe hang a period canteen and powder flask or something. Nice find, congrats!
You are so lucky to have such an Historical little river like that near you, along with all the other land sights. Everyone left when they heard how much easier things would be in the West, land grants ,etc. The First Settlers didn’t have much of a choice, so they settled in these areas, as it was new and nobody knew any better. After a generation or two, they discovered better options out west and left. These areas were never redeveloped, as they were bad then ,and are bad now.
The sword basket was amazing, it's worth going back to find the sword. When you said something was nibbling at your leg, it took me back to the beaver, and then muskrats, snakes, and eels, and finally leeches. You would think I was in there. LOL Nope, I don't think your a wimp, keep them coming Chigg.
Hi Chigg, great day on the river. That figure eight hunk of lead could be a decoy anchor from a duck decoy or goose decoy. Not a chicken decoy...those don't need anchors. The cord would wrap around the spikey parts. Those parts would keep the decoy from drifting as it is sometimes gnarly weather when hunting ducks and geese...not chickens. Smiling, George.
Awesome sword guard 😍 and sweet old bullets 👌 that big iron piece that thought was oil filter, is it possibly a cast iron septic pipe cover? As saw a square protruding from center where they use wrench on? Anyways good to see the Chigg out river hunting 😁 HH and see ya on the next.
At 1:10 you say that what you found is a piece of a leghold trap. But it is not circolar like on traps. It looks more like a trigger guard from a musket.
I really enjoy watching your videos Beau. You are so knowledgeable and that makes for a great video. You found some more fantastic items today. Thanks for sharing your videos with us. Hugs from California
You could do with a extendable steel camera spike beau. You can just stab it into any mud or branch or bottom of the river and film yourself. esp in water where you have nowhere to put a tripod really.
Another great day on the water chigg. Looks like you done pretty good. Can't wait till you come back an see if you can find that sword an maybe some artillery shells as well. An don't forget to check out those mini balls with that weird shape. I'd like to know what you come up with. Great video chigg. As always safe and happy hunting/digging. 😁👍👍
This was a very interesting two part episode ???. Not sure if that's the proper way to say it. Anyway, I had a blast hanging out with you on that river hunt Beau. You're the man.
Chigg, RE: Pulled ball. The reasons for pulling a ball was not just if the weapon would not fire. If an army was marching in enemy territory all weapons would be loaded. At the end of the day...after no action some percentage of them would stand down for the night. The loaded weapons would need to be unloaded so that they could be cleaned and ready for the next day. These weapons would be unloaded via pulling the ball....firing 1k's+ muskets to unload them in a warzone is a bad idea for obvious reasons. JMHO love the videos...best Gary Stone
Chigg, is it possible that the damage to the sword basket is because it might have been bullet struck? You could be quite right when you speculate about fire melted, but look again at the not so far fetched thought that it could be from a collector's perspective a most desirable authentic bullet struck relic. Try holding it up to your ear, listen and see if it "talks" to you. Geez, I love travelling along with you on your hunts.

Why do you not like to go to the same place two days in a row? Is it because it draws too much attention?
Sorry late Love ya CHIGG 💟💟

Yeah we haven't seen the "relic room" in a long time I believe, or maybe an updated video with some of his all time favorite finds
😀👍👍👍👍

One of the best channels on YT hands down.

Baby Snakes......great Zappa track!
I was hoping someone mentioned that !! It was a great song !! 🐍😎

There was no blunt loading tip on civil war rifles. There were cleaning implements that screwed onto the small end of the loading rod.
Very cool Chigg!
Look forward to the next visit to this site Beau, that sword may be lying in wait with other treasures - Happy Fossicking mate! Warren.
Looks like a musket hammer?...dig the show........ KEEP ON ROCKING IT!.....Aquachigger......

Wow! an un-fired oil filter! Thanks for this cool video.
You must have mentioned that before about muskrats. I know nothing about them, but knew they were responsible for those shells!

Not a bad day chigger on the fines 👍
Might have to make yourself some chainmail pants for water wading. Crazy critters

Looks like a clean out cap for a septic line
Nice watch
The oil fitter thing looks like a old school cast iron clean out plug. Good finds Chigg
Nice artifacts. Best of luck locating more of the sword.
Great adventure my friend!
5:58 could be an axle hub off a wagon with the square nut. Looks too heavy for a canister type filter cover
Hey Chigg, that wasn’t a beaver stick, that was a Samsquatch toothpick! Good thing it was in the water, or it might’a had spit on it! 🤣
Thanks Chigg
Thanks Chigg, I enjoyed the video. Those were unusual looking mini ball ends, finding oddities like that keep hunting interesting.
GO CHIGG!

wow that sword piece is awesome, good job man
those fresh water muscles are a sign of a fairly clean stream or river
Local rivers are much cleaner now than when I was a kid.

There’s also usually a little pile of doo on the rock with the shells!
