- Please join me on this little SCUBA diving metal detecting adventure. In it, I venture out into grass patches and then find a sweet spot that has Civil War relics and some other very interesting finds to include an old Spanish silver coin.

The white plastic “bubbler” is used in a minnow bucket, to provide the minnows with oxygen…..probably had 2 ‘D’….or ‘C’ batteries.

Hey Chigg the “Hush Bubbles” thing is an aerator for keeping live bait for fishing

that large ring of metal looked like a coil that was cut people back in the day would cut off about a loop of a coil sometimes two loops to lower the profile of a car's front it that is the old school "poor man's" lower kit. the mr bubbles is a aerator or fish bubbler for bait fish runs off of c or d type batteries they are handy for us who use live baits "fresh water".

Back when Mercedes made electric stoves that's the ring that held the coil for the cooktop. Highly collectable.

Find it interesting to see the different types of finds depending on where in the world you are. I first saw you on river hunters UK and there were various finds through the ages and now following you on RUclips it’s great to see the civil war finds and how they compare and contrast.

i believe the "bubble box" is an air pump for your live bait well. or bucket/cooler. some are 12 volt but i think they can be powered with multiple d cells.. models may vary. lol.. thanks for sharing Chig. looks like a real fun day at the water.

Awesome day in the water chigg. However you were running out of tank pressure when you were just starting to get hot on the bullets. Another video an another day in that same spot for sure. Great find on the bullets an the coin. If there's one there's got to be more. Just a matter of locating them. Great video chigg. Congrats on all your finds. That hush bubbles is for a minnow bucket, has a place for a tube and it blows bubbles in the bucket

Great hunt, thanks. I hope that you are recording the locations of your finds so that one day, you can donate your collection to a museum. Here in America, we need to do a better job of preserving our history for future generations. How else will they learn to appreciate the struggle required to build the greatest country on earth and, at the same time what NOT to do in the process.

I found a "Tube" just like the one you found at 10:10 I found it in the AZ desert. It is open on one end and closed on the other. The closed-end looks like it was struck with a firing pin, and the tube diameter appears to be the same as a 22 long rifle cartridge. I was thinking it might be some kind of blasting cap, or a primer for a larger cartridge.

The white box that you found that said hush bubbles. it’s a battery powered aerator. Makes oxygen for things like minnow buckets.

It's amazing how interlocked the rocks are and the stuff of history is just lying there. On land some good targets are close to a ft deep.

The clams make the trails in the sand and mud. The hush bubbles is a aerator for bait. The brass copper tube with holes is a jet for a carburetor

Chig have you tried a hookah rig for shallow diving like that?
There are quite a variety of models and so forth available these days and some are even portable and battery powered.
One model I know of enables dives to nearly 100 feet!
Another possibility is rebreather rigs.
