    In under 10 minutes, you were able to explain not just the how but the why of paired t-tests in a more understandable format that a 45 minute lecture from my professor, hahaha! Well done, sir! And thank you for your concise explanations and demonstration!

    Fawad sir i cannot explain how perfect this video was. Thanks alot.
    P.S. with paired t test..
    Is it important to have a control group too?
    Also, paired ttest can be used with continuous data only ??

    • @researchwithfawad
      @researchwithfawad  Год назад

      No, it is fine without control.
      The paired sample t-test requires the sample data to be numeric and continuous. Occasionally, discrete data can be used to approximate a continuous scale, such as with Likert-type scales.

    • @researchwithfawad
      @researchwithfawad  2 года назад +1

      If sig. is greater than 0.05, the results are insignificant, this shows that intervention had no effect. The before and after situation are identical

    One more query sir.
    I have built a Research paper having 16 in experimental group and 16 in control group.
    And have applied paired t test. Is this okay?
    I was suggested to apply wilcoxon test.
    My argument is t test can be used even on sample of 4. Only that assumptions of t test should be fulfilled which is random sampling. I collected sample randomly of eye patients (only those suffering from digital strain) from an eye clinic
    So is my reasoning correct.
    Please guide me.

    • @researchwithfawad
      @researchwithfawad  Год назад

      No, paired sample t test is based on changes that are a result of an intervention. If there is no intervention and there are two groups use independent sample t test or mann Whitney u test depending on the scale of dependent variable.
