Very good, teacher. Keep going!!
Thank you, I will
amazing tutorial...simple and crystal clear without the extra discussion
I am glad you liked it.
This channel is everything. So refreshing to remind myself about SPSS once more.
Thanks for watching. Do share in your research circle.
Thank you for this video, I was able to run my first SPSS report with your help.
Excellent! I am glad it helped. Do Like and Share. For Notes on SPSS, please visit

OHHH MY GOD! Thank you so much. It was so helpful !!
Pleasure. I am glad you liked it.
Thank you very muuch for clarifying what is required for which field this will help me in my study :)
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for giving valuable videos
Thanks. I am really glad you liked the videos.
Hi Fawad, how do you stratify by group(like intervention and control) for different variables like age, gender and employment status?
Please check your email
Hi Fawad, how do you stratify by group for different variables like age, gender and employment status?
Please check your email
This is very helpful, is the full template of descriptive statistics which you have shown available? or is this the full video on this available?
Thanks. Please visit for download

Thank you prof. As I know countries are categorical variables, we don’t need to run mean and S.D, right? Also, if I have (yes and no) answers these can’t count mean and S.D for them as well?
Yes, right.
Dr. Fawad, I have a construct with 33 items (before EFA), do I do the descriptives before I extract factors running EFA or after that (because some items are going to be eliminated)? Thank you
Yes, do descriptive statistics before EFA.
I love your explanation. Presently am doing a research and the data analysis is given me stress. Do you have a video on case n control analysis using above or t test ? Thanks
Thanks. This video may help

Aoa sir, kindly tell if we need to report the kurtosis and skewness of each item of the variables in a table or just for the "composite mean variable" , as a part of the thesis report? thanks
WAS. Report both.
Good day. How do I interpret my result on SPSS like "the above table reveals that...."? Please explain to me, sir. Thanks
Thanks for watching. The interpretation and reporting is at the end of the video. Any clarification required, please do write
Professor, if my construct is made up of formative items, then I can't report the overall mean of the construct. How should I report descriptive statistics of formative constructs?
Repot for each item.
Thank you sir
Welcome
Thank you so much sir for this valueable video. You make research much easier..
N sir what if mean value is around 3.19 now it's neither agreed nor disagree scale but my hypothesis is a positive statement.. How should I interpret this???
A value close to 3 would mean that respondents primarily have aneutral opinion about the indicator or variable.
@@researchwithfawad thank you for the quick reply sir..
Thank you very much sir, Iam just about to do my analysis after collecting data using Kobotool box. This will be of great help.
can I come back to you in case of any difficulty?
Thanks. I am glad you liked it. You can post your comments and i willntry my best to get back.
please explain how to interpret the standard deviation, skewness, kurtosis etc
Please watch this video. Although, the video is part of AMOS. The theoretical part in the video will help.

I need help with the interpretation of descriptive statistics in R. I'm failing to report the results. I used "describe " to run the descriptive statistics.
Thanks for your interest. The description of result doesn't change. It is only the format. The format may change between software.
Respected sir I have many variables with indicators can I take average of each indicator to compute descriotives per construct
Yes you can.
I have run mean and standard deviation for a scale having 5 items
But overall mean and SD are like more than 15.
How i can settele it
Whule the mean at individual items is ok like 3. 81
How did you calculate the overall mean?.
Hello Fawad, I am lost and struggling to analyse my data, statistics is my weakest point, I need your guidance. can you help, please
Hi. Please email me on kh.fawad83@gmail.com
Sir How do you analyse Ranking Questions using SPSS. Please suggest.
Please see this tutorial.
statistics.laerd.com/spss-tutorials/ranking-data-in-spss-statistics.php
@@researchwithfawad thank you very much sir.
@@researchwithfawad sir the data column in SPSS file is it sum of the variables or is it the Garrett Ranking Score please clarify.
Sir, can I get your video on testing of normality
Yes to make one. But you can use Skewness and Kurtosis as a measure to assess normality.
Sir actually my analyze section is not showing Descriptive statistics only showing forecasting what to do??
Can you share the screenshot on kh.fawad83@gmail.com
That means no need to show the composite mean score in the table but to include it in the report. Is that right Sir?
You can include it in with the indicators as well.
Sir, so what do we report valid percentage Or percentage?
Percentage.
@@researchwithfawad ok sir, thanks
sir i am highly indebted to you.
Sir,
If my hypothesis is negative
Hedonic value negatively influence purchase intention toward sustainable clothing.
Estimate =.263 critical ratio : 4.003 P
Negative does not mean insignificant. Negative and positive both are relationships, if you expected a positive relationship and it turned out to be negative, then your hypothesis is rejected.
@@researchwithfawad so sir relationship is positive or negative is check by beta value or estimate value right???
@@researchwithfawad sir actually I have presentation comming tuesday. Your video helped me a lots. Thank you so much sir 🙏👍👍👍
Yes, beta value will provide you with the direction of relationship and p value with its significance.
still struggling to understand this SPSS. I need to understand this to be able to do an assignment.
Thanks for watching. Sometime you have to watch the session two or three times to make more sense of data and its interpretation.
Great lecture sir.. Sir mein ny ek mam se pada tha valid percentage missing valve ko count ni krti iss liye humy valid percentage ko yhi final rkhna chchye and only percentage missing valve ko b include krti hain.. Now sir i got confusion here plx clear my doubt..
You can include missing value details so the reader may know if there was any missing data.
@@researchwithfawad tq sir.. Sir if possible plz urdu mein b spss pr lecture dijiye
Hello again Sir. How can I report the age, if it was asked in a free text in the survey? People just wrote their age in a text field. I can only say the age reaches from 17 to 80, but i cant report an average age? Thank you
If the respondents just filled in their age, you can take its mean and report it. You can also categorise the variable. Please watch
ruclips.net/video/UgwSmceAlGY/видео.html
@@researchwithfawad Thank you so much for the fast response and help. just watched the video. but how can i take its means if I DONT categorise the variable?
Go to
Analyze -> Descriptive -> Descriptive Statistics
Add Age from left list box to the right and you will have it.
@@researchwithfawad I tried doing that. It's just that my age variable doesnt appear in the left list box. i dont know if it's because it's a nominal variable with no values (just text)...
it's not numeric or something, it says "string". (zeichenfolge in german)
Please check your mail, sir. Thank you
Please check, i have replied.
