I was obese back in 2004, until I discovered RUclips in 2005. During the pandemic, I discovered and learned about OMAD, water fasting, dry fasting, alternative day fasting. Slowly I lose fat and weight because of fasting. I can vary my fasting and there's no strict rule on how to fast. I looked younger now than I was back in 2004. I'm 41 btw.

I’m 40. Can’t see your photos to judge if you look young or not. I’ll look into your fasting testimony to see how I can better aid in my fasting.

Super interesting interview, Marie, thank you!! I've been studying how to intentionally slow down the aging process of my body and become biologically younger since 2019 and had really good results doing so without using a lot of supplements or any medications or any experimental treatments that are available.... As a former cancer patient it is really important to me to reverse my aging in the most natural and holistic ways possible. Thats what i want to share here with your audience, Marie, that optimal health and "getting younger with age" (as I call it) is not only possible if you are wealthy and can easily afford the treatments Peter talks about - its possible for everyone who takes their health serious and is willing to make changes! And is willing to stop with any excuses as to why you cant get healthier and biologically younger, if you so desire. I do invest in my health with time, dedication and a really reasonable amount of money per year (for additional blood test, high quality foods.for example) and have been lowering my biological age even further this year. It actually is my MTP (massive transformative porpose, as Peter coined it) to share my own experience and research (im a journalist) in my next book and speeches soon because believe me, if this middle aged mom of a young kid who had cancer only a few years ago can do I, so can you!! 💪🥰👍

While I appreciate the content, many are stuck in the poor healthcare system d/t means. I make a good living but am trapped in the standard healthcare model. I know better, am willing to do better, try to increase my income as able but can only afford certain aspects of the content provided. Not your problem. I realize that. Just sharing my experience. I am in shape, eat well, etc, but will likely never afford many of the suggestions set forth. Labs, specialty doctors, supplements not covered by insurance. I would ❤ to try everything mentioned here as would many. However, it's just not feasible. Trust me,
I try things I can afford. My life. My life choices. I understand that. It's not lack of awareness or willingness. It's not always possible to uplevel your life to the point you desire. Thank you for the content!

    Great discussion guys!
The takeaway from this is all that we can do to reverse our health trajectories is largely free - sleep, exercise, food, even how we eat that food. And we can start right now. My first action will be to ensure I always start eating my veggies before my protein. I rarely eat rice, pasta or bread these days.

Thank you Marie and Peter for the wisdom and knowledge. First, I’d like to say I’m sorry Marie for the difficult situation you’re going through with your parents. I lost my dad to Covid in 2021 at the age of 71 and my mother, now 74, has struggled ever since he passed. She doesn’t want to be here, she doesn’t want to live, and it’s been the most difficult situation to deal with. Sending you strength to help your parents. ❤ Second, the information in this interview is priceless. I’ve read Peter and Tony‘s book, Longevity, and loved it. The hope and guidance the book provides for taking control of our health is inspiring. Also, I’ve been using Oneskin, the peptide lotion he mentions, for 2 years thanks to the book, and it has changed my skin! Biggest takeaway is figuring out my MTP. 🙌

Prehistoric man AVARAGE life duration was 30 due to death of childrens and babies that lowered the mean. Of course people lived and thrived afterwards and the oldies of the tribes had an important role in sharing survival wisdom to the young ones. So claiming they had no use therefore started to decline is simply not true! If you look at traditional tribes today like the Indians and others. You will see people there beyond 100years of age

    • @GetYoungerWithBettinaGordon

I was thinking the same thing! Also, if the body was never meant to live longer than age 30, then we could not have doubled our life span within just one century with antibiotics, etc alone. I definitely don't believe that the body was only meant for 30 years and your examples of indigenous tribes underscore it all,.thanks!

Thank you for this comment! This is so obvious so I really question his motive for saying that. There’s data that many people lived not just into, but well, to their 80s and beyond going back 2 thousand years. Statistics don’t mean anything until you provide the context and without context, they can flat out lie.

This was so good! The most important thing I learned is that I get really motivated listening to you Marie and healthier living content generally! First time with your content. I wish he had talk edabout alcohol. I recently decided to go sober. I'm not an alcoholic, but heart failure runs in my family and I recently learned that alcohol is not only hard on the liver but also the heart. It's a carbohydrate, so I assume it turns into sugar and falls under the sugar is poison category, but would have loved to hear him talk specifically about how wine, beer, hard alcohol, affect us. (My only criticism/request is for him to please leave the moon alone. We're a blight on this planet. Don't get people who want to colonize elsewhere before fixing everything here to live symbiotically with all other life.)

Most people don't know what's happening in their bodies because...health care is not a right yet. It's a privilege and even if you have insurance, you aren't able to access many of the preventative practices (full body MRI...). The folks who make $$$$$ telling people to do these things should work to make them affordable for ALL.

I think we're missing the point. Again. He touched a bit about mindset, emotions and how it affects physiology, nonetheless - you can't monetize mindset that much, so we (he) again are going the same old same mechanistic reductionist way as to take million supplements and/or do hellishly expensive tests. When he said that testing "saved" lives - how can he claim that it's true? They saw something that might have been an issue. Or might not. Who can tell that the test done on other day would have shown the same exact results? Possibly these tests saved lives and, possibly, they overdiagnosed and overtreated what's not needed to be treated. Noone can say that they saved lives, that's very misleading and inaccurate. I trust that he has nice intentions and visions. And, he goes where the money are the biggest. Still playing on fear and vulnerabilities. It was somewhat interesting and disappointing to listen all at the same time.

No one seems to KNOW anything about aging, except that it happens. There has been no cure, no miraculous reversals, no shockingly young looking 80 or 90 year olds. Lots of people have ideas, hypotheses and snake oil. SOME of these things DO have limited effect, BUT none has made granny young again, none has pushed human longevity to 150.
Lots of things can make you FEEL young, including many kinds of drugs. But nothing actually makes you any younger.
And you can FEEL fantastic and be in seemingly perfect health and have an aneurysm or stroke and just die. Happens all the time.
When you show me a 90 year old with no makeup that most people think is 20-30 years old, you'll have me believong.
BTW, before I even checked, I estimated this guys age at 60. Turns out, he's 63. My bad.
