I have a 1.03 carat faint gray diamond..and I absolutely LOVE IT!!!. to me,(but to each, their own) really white diamonds look a little fake ..they're gorgeous, because they're not fake, don't get me wrong.. but warm diamonds, S&P diamonds, and galaxy diamonds(again, my opinion only) have more personality and charm..they're romantic. My diamond reminds me of the sky after a storm..right before the sun comes back out, and since I've been married 14 years and have had this ring 1 year, it could not be more perfect to represent our (my husband and I) love story. True but imo (I know no one asked it but this is the internet so there you go lol) engagement rigs should look like engagement rings if that makes sense😅😅 Like sure these salt and pepper/galaxy stones look fantastic, but like get them for a regular ring you know? (talking in general not you in particular lol)😅 Imo your engagement ring should let everyone know you're engaged, ideally from a mile away lmfao otherwise it kinda defeats the point🤣🤣😆😆😆But I get that some people want something more low key and personal and that's ok😌

Matina, if there's a ring on your left ring finger, people are gonna assume you're engaged lol. That's the whole point of wearing a ring on a specific finger! There's not one way an engagement ring should "look". It should reflect your personality and style, whatever it ends up being. Huh. Very pretty. I like it. Anything that doesn't fall for the advertisement campaign of the century that diamonds become. Tanzanite will run out withing the rlbext 25 years. The tanzanite mine will be done. I'm going to invest in one. A huge one. And they're so cheap compared to diamonds which are extremely common because tanzanite hasn't had a marketing campaign yet that has artificially inflated it's worth like diamonds have. But I think in 25 years when there are none left in the mine....they will be worth quite a bit.
Mam you got scammed with a worthless stone. Yes, you find it pretty and that good for you but not only does it have insane amount of inclusions in it, it also has color which means it literally has no value at all.
It is an industrial use product and if you want to put it in a ring that's fine, you do you. But this is like putting any sentimental random rock on a ring.
Yes you would need to pay a little since obviously someone still had to cut the diamond but that's about it for what it should have cost.
Knowing diamonds, if you paid anything over a hundred dollars on it, you got majorly scammed.
Please people know fair value of the stuff you are buying.
Setting costs the same regardless of the diamond quality so hope the jeweller was nice and didn't scam you there.
People, please understand, salt and pepper diamonds are just worthless shinny rocks and are not jewelry grade at all.
Jewellers who are practicing diamond cutting start with these worthless stuff to train cutting proper diamonds and that's why you even see them in the market.
You want to buy them because you find them pretty? Sure. But don't pay anything in orders of thousands for them please. People are very happy to scam you and specially in the jewellery business

A good quality white diamond is available for $1k dollars per carat in India. So anyone who purchased a reject quality such as the salt & pepper diamonds for $1k dollars or $500 per carat got scammed! Salt & Pepper, Champagne, Chocolate, Cognac are terms used to sell ugly brown reject diamonds!
People should have some sense of respect on themselves and demand quality! Do not buy overprized shit! 💩Because reject diamonds have zero resale value!
You criticized diamond pricing as being a marketing scam and yet you got scammed buying an overprized imperfect reject diamond that is only good for industrial uses!
What you see as ugly some people see as beautiful. I want a salt and pepper diamond engagement ring because I think beauty is in imperfections, and I want my ring to be a symbol of my relationship. I don't want just a regular ring with no sentimentality. My relationship is and will never be perfect, but it's beautiful through its imperfections!
