  • SubhanAllah, SubhanAllah, SubhanAllah, SubhanAllah
Aj sik mitraan di vadhayri ay
    Kyoon dilRi udaas ghanayri ay
Loon loon wich shawq changayri ay
    Aj naynaan laayaan kyoon jhaRyaan.
    SubhanAllah, SubhanAllah, SubhanAllah, SubhanAllah
    Yearning for the beloved today
Why is the heart aching in this way?
Every hair burns and it pines away
Why do my eyes cry rivers today?
    SubhanAllah, SubhanAllah, SubhanAllah, SubhanAllah
Mukh chand badar sha' shaani ay
    Mathay chamkdi laat nuraani ay
Kaali zulf tay akh mastaani ay
    Makhmoor akhee hen madh bhariyaan.
    SubhanAllah, SubhanAllah, SubhanAllah, SubhanAllah
His face; a full moon; radiant and bright
And a brow beaming with divine light
Those dazzling eyes, hair black as the night
Enchanting eyes, what a charming sight!
    SubhanAllah, SubhanAllah, SubhanAllah, SubhanAllah
    Daw abroo qaws misaal disan
Jayn tun nawk mijha day teer chutan
Labaan surkh aakaan keh la'l yaman
Chittay dand mawtee deeyan hen laRiyaan.
    SubhanAllah, SubhanAllah, SubhanAllah, SubhanAllah
Two eyebrows look like they are bows
    Eyelashes shooting like arrows
Red as rubies are those lips of yours
And your teeth are white pearls set in rows.
    SubhanAllah, SubhanAllah, SubhanAllah, SubhanAllah
Is soorat noon main jaan aakhan
    Jaanaan keh jaanay jahaan aakhan
Sach aakhan teh rab dee main shaan aakhan
Jis shaan tun shaanaan sab banRiyaan.
    SubhanAllah, SubhanAllah, SubhanAllah, SubhanAllah
This beauty I would say is my life
Or should I say the whole world's life?
In fact, glory of the Lord of life
From whose glory all glories take life.
    SubhanAllah, SubhanAllah, SubhanAllah, SubhanAllah
    SubhanAllah maa ajmalaka
    Maa ahsanaka, maa akmalaka
Kithay Mehr Ali, kithay tayri sanaa
    Gustaakh akheen kithay jaa aRyaan.
    SubhanAllah, SubhanAllah, SubhanAllah, SubhanAllah
Glory to Allah, how fair you are!
How noble you are! How perfect you are!
Where's Mehr-e-Ali and where you are!
My ungracious sight has gone too far.
    SubhanAllah, SubhanAllah, SubhanAllah, SubhanAllah
