    As-Saadiq, Al-Ameen - Teacher of Truth
This poem talks to us about how the Prophet (Peace be upon him) teaches us the truth and guides us along the straight path. It tells us that he has always been by our side and will continue to be our guide and helper in this world and when we pass to the next. The Poem also mentions the Prophet's love for every follower and how the Prophet (Peace be upon him) will help and aid his followers on the Day of Judgement when even parents, who will do anything for their children in this world, will only be interested in what happens to them and no one else.
Although this poem is written by Imam Ahmad Raza Al-Qadiri (Allah be pleased with him), it is not found in his popular collection of poetry called Hadaaiq-eBakhshish - Gardens of Mercy.
One of the beautiful aspects of this poem is the words "yeh hain" which appear at the end of each verse. It means 'he is' and refers to the Prophet (Peace be upon him). In Urdu the plural form is used out of respect, this convention is not used in English grammar. The word "yeh" is used to indicate something close by and this meaning is also lost in the English translation. In order to capture the spirit of the Urdu wording we have changed 'he is' into the second person, 'you are.'
This is only a recital of 4 verses. The full poem can be found in the book 'Naat For a New Generation' on pages 80-84
