I like the intro about the bookshops! I think it was good you addressed the history of ramen and how this technically falls under the category when compared with a very similar looking udon which is cut rather than pulled. Would have loved a bit more description of the halal beef, was it different to wagyu? It looked pretty lean.
Short and sweet, and critique was illustrative as always! Noods aside, this bowl really comes off as light and refreshing. Looks like a good change of pace from the usual suspects!
Oh my gosh I would love to go there! I want to choose the noodles and would also want to visit the bookstores! Thanks for taking us, Frank! It’s always nice having you describe the ramen ☺️
Frank, can you get this Ramen without the cilantro? I cannot eat it, the taste for me is like a metallic taste. also, do they make Ramen noodles with Rice for people who cannot eat wheat noodles too? thanks, I enjoyed your videos and all the others on "Japan by Food" it has been a long time 9abot 37 yrs) since the last and only time I've been to Japan,
Enjoyed making this one 😃
Wow them noodles were so thick reminded me of udon!!!!

Would the dish be very similar to pho? Minus the noodles.
Uyghur food and culture is beautiful and needs to be preserved outside of China
