Best golf instructional video I've ever watched. Usually, when i make swing changes, i dont touch the driver swing because it's pretty reliable. With the giving blood example you use. This is the easiest way to get on plain for pure power. Unfortunately, i have an old football injury in my right wrist that makes it impossible to find the position of the palm supporting the club at the top. But it's the closest to a great position I've ever had. The last few weeks are the best I've ever centred the club on the ball. Most constant my swing has ever been. Had my very first round of golf without a double bogie on saturday. Shot 85. Shot 84 with two pickups on thursday. All without holing a single decent putt. Thanks Adam.
Another great video. Another way to feel the correct trail elbow position is taking a reverse grip then doing a practice swing. Forces the elbow into the correct position
I've been working on it recently thanks to a porzak golf video. Externally rotating the shoulder feels strange at first, but it shows immediate improvements in ball-striking.
Awesome instructor with plenty of patience for working well with those that don’t fully understand like myself lol it can not be explained any better than this awesome guy and teacher wow
I've always used the giving blood setup with a strong grip. Weakened it yesterday and it worked!!! Hitting about a 8-10 yard draw. Going to try to tighten that up today. Good luck
I think this is my problem! Going to force it for a bit and see if I can get my club shallowed. Been hitting too many hooks (out to in path) and blocks to right lately. Thanks!
Interesting video. I have always wondered why I can't get my right elbow in the position that you recommend and the grip might be something to look at. Seriously looking at getting an online lesson from you (Glasgow, Scotland to US costs are a bit prohibitive at the moment!!)
That is most likely because you haven’t mastered the hip bump which slightly drops the trail shoulder and allows for the trail arm to be softer and rotated the proper way!
Another good one. Sounds weird but my feel when I shallow is like I’m trying to shank the ball or strike the ball with a hammer blow and the elbow structure just happens.
Nope, just need to setup better! Hip bump, spine angle from the face on view, the proper trail arm rotation in the setup and a complete body turn solve it all! Remember, it doesn’t need to look like Jimmy in this video or Tiger Woods, it just needs to be a better version of yourself for it to be a better more consistent swing
You make the club behind rear arm and pull drill look easy, but attempting it - it is not clear if the correct muscles are being moved in the correct direction... In the video it seems like your student may be swinging the hands, grip, and club out in the direction of the ball and ball to target line instead of the better downward movement.

Love this! Drilling this right now!
Great explanation and so relevant for me. Appreciated 😊
That's my guy, Jimmy! Anybody who can improve his game is a damn ninja as far as I'm concerned. Dude is going to win every comp he enters
Awesome video Adam !! 😎👍🏻

Wonderful video Adam. I never thought that the grip can affect the swing plane! 😢 Thank you.
Again...awesome explanation with detailed breakdown of how to shallow the club and keep the trail arm connected.
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
This is such a game changer! 👊👊👊👊🔥🔥🔥
LMAO i clicked on this video just to find this comment....someone coments this on every single golf video posted on RUclips

Thank you so much for taking the time to write that! I appreciate that 🙏🏻
I always say this is my eureka moment, but THIS might actually be my eureka moment.
Love the detailed explanation. Keep up the great work!
Thank you! 🙏🏻

What's the Ipad recording software you use to slow down and draw lines? Thanks so much Adam
V1 is the name of the app
Will drill this again, even though you mentioned flexibility isnt an issue its hard even setting up in the giving blood position

That looks like Keegan Bradley in the background at the end!

Come on. Like and comment. Be back later to watch. Just because I love the content and it needs to be seen by more.
We appreciate you! 🙌
What about those of us that have limited external rotation. Are we doomed or is there a compensating move?

Not quite sure what you’re implying… but I assure you if we corrected it and approved of it, he’s definitely doing more correctly!
