Can't wait to see this GTI on track! Nice video! I'll continue watching it! Also, to be completely honest, I am satisfied with the new tryshots. Effects look good. Generally speaking, your cameraman is doing a good job with you! One more thing: have a nice trip up to Sweeden tomorrow!
This Video Quality is on another Level, all the B-Roll and Stuff, just amazing. I think this might already be your best "investment" of this year :D And as always, i really like these garage Videos a lot.
Oh damn did you get the editor you were looking for? I almost wished I was in the industry just so I could apply lol. Would love some more details. I will say that time and time again I've seen budding youtubers up their production quality and almost immediately massively increase their audience. I know a lot of people here love the simple vlogs, but there's definitely room for some more high-brow content.
8:00 - interesting topic. Misha, maybe you could tell more about how to drive a stock/daily car on the track and enjoy it, but without risk of damaging brakes, bearings, etc? I mean - how to enjoy track driving without going crazy with sport suspension, big brake kit and ending with ringtool. I would love to see explaining efective smooth lap while keeping in mind stock car components.
Love this new format and the technical content Misha - really gives you and George the ability to present the material really well and include the additional footage. Great work!
yeah now that someone is filming you and with some nice b-roll this feels like a level-up in quality. I really like the vlog style content but for things like a tech video with george this is a nice way to do it, I'm sure you will find ways to improve it even more
Ester/PAO based Redline 5W-40 is a FANTASTIC oil. Thicker oil film at operating temp than a petroleum 20W-50(!!). Much higher levels of ZDDP than found in newer "eco-friendly" oils. It's very expensive but 100% worth it. MUCH cooler oil temps (by 20-30F on average), smoother power delivery with a much more noticeable "hit" of power when you get on it and much quieter valvetrain noise. I love this stuff. I'm basing my opinion coming from other great synthetics; LIQUI-MOLY Leichtlauf High Tech 5W-40, MOTUL 8100 X-CESS Gen2 and MOTUL Specific 505 01 502 00. These are all great oils but I was blown away at the difference, it's on another level entirely.
Great video with the GTI! Enjoyed the more technical format in the shop. Curious if you looked into adding MK8 rear control arm covers? Currently have a MK7 and adding them helped with high speed stability (less drag)
On my first ever trackday, my stock GTI’s electronics killed my front brakes without me even noticing at first… Those Protracks look great on the Golf!
Great series, sorry it does not get a large amount of viewing. I found it very interesting to see how many manufacturers there are now who make advanced products compared to 30 years ago. 30 years ago you could get Ferodo brake pads and Koni shocks.
I am a big fan of Michelin tires. My 3 series BMW has Bridgestone and they are horrible. Last one had better Pirelli tires. The M2 had Continental tires which seemed odd as my other M-cars had Pilot Sports. 911 has Pirelli P7, with it had PS4.
Cool to see that the golf gets JRZ now!! However it does make me wonder if the rental price will go up? I’d still love to drive it tho whatever it costs
I have exactly the same car... the big topic on many of the GTi forums is when to service the VAQ diff, you mentioned the DSG oil change but not anything on the VAQ diff... what will you be doing with this as I expect it's taking quite a hit on the track.
Nice video, one question. Why are you using 5W-30 in the polo gti aw aswel? The manufacturer is saying 0W-20. If 5W-30 is better i will start using it in my polo gti too:)

Yes, new format is good. Keep the cameraman.
I absolutely love all the tech videos. Super cool stuff

Trying out something new here. Don't worry, old formats won't go anywhere :)

Wow, video quality and a cameraman work is a masterpiece! I really like this new format!

Could be interesting!

i can see the brand new B-roll shots misha! i can say that I like it!
Morning coffee making with Apex, good to see the workshop getting ready for the new season, 5:30am, Rj in Oz
Love the b-roll footage, helps to illustrate the points your making
I’m a big fan of Golf models, I love watching every video about them. I’m waiting for follow-ups ✌️
This is great. I'm looking forward to what creative ways you'll keep going these next few months

Buttery smooth B-roll makes everything better!
Mischa really like this format, cameraman is good ! Good quick to the point information!
Keep up the good work 👍👍👍
good video with you friend George
More of George 👍🏼
yes loved this video format!
Great video format to mix into your daily mix. Wonderful editing!
Videos like these make me wish I had chosen a different career path 35 years ago. 😉
Keep 'em coming!
these tech videos are great. I'd love to see an M4 one
Yes I also like the new format 😉👍
Really like the new style, the only comment I would make is that beep towards the end was just a little too loud.
Good video
Good comment
Nice Explanation like always 🤌🏻
Great one, but I’d go easier on the LUT intesity 😇
Yes!
RS3 brake ducts and OEM aero!
PS loved the intro!
Very good format 👍🏼
Tech videos, always good!
Quality video, love a bit of tech talk
The GTi brakes work much better on track when you add RS3 brake ducts and remove those heat trapping caliper cover plates.
Does removing those plates have any negative impact on day to day use?
@@loonytoon8836 nope
Cupra as a rental... 🤔
New style 👍🏻
As long as there will be some old school stuff now and then 😉
Here for the special effects
Hello Robert! Good to see you
#spielberg 😉
Will be interesting to see if the ebc discs are any good on the golf. Had them and for me it wasn't worth the extra money compared to oem.

I think you found a camera guy 🙂👍 looks great 👍 and the tech stuff is cool, like it 🤩
Cool video 👍🏻
More George and cartalk!
Video has barely started playing, and I hit like
Great content as always. I'm wondering how is Philip across the street doing and what he is preparing for the new season? :)
What is a good alignment setup for Track/street without much or weird tyrewear.. smt between -0.9/-1.4 degrees camber?
Cool to see that the golf gets JRZ now!! However it does make me wonder if the rental price will go up? I’d still love to drive it tho whatever it costs
I am sure that if you book it now, that price will be fixed for you :)
I use same oil with my gti n gli
Hello guys!
Isn't it 10w60 way better for track days that 5w30 ? Isn't the car burning the oil ?
Shame about the cupra! Loved it as a race car. Is there a replacement as a pure racer?
Not yet :)
super!
Where do you guys get your Endless brake pads in europe?
Interesting video, I'm not sure I like the new format but I might just need to get used to it
Voor mij zag het nieuwe format er goed uit, rustiger omdat de camera niet constant in beweging is.
mate all works for me.

We haven't serviced ours, neither on the Cupra.
I liked it!
Love it, I also drive a GTI 🔥🔥
Hallo Misha, nice this type of vídeo keeping doing that, but maybe the image can be better ? ( for me was to white ) just my opinion
Nice video, one question. Why are you using 5W-30 in the polo gti aw aswel? The manufacturer is saying 0W-20. If 5W-30 is better i will start using it in my polo gti too:)
It works and that way we needed just 1 type of oil for multiple cars
@@mgcharoudin okay thanks!
But which one 5W-30 from Liquiy Moly is this?
Prefer the old style. More personal :)
How would you compare this car to the mk3 megane rs on the ring? In terms of competence, fun and cost?
Easier to drive, but have to invest a bit more to make it on the same level.
@@mgcharoudin thank you carmrade.
Numero uno.
Are you sure ? 🧐
Good informative video, I like the new format!
Bro got a keg of 5w30 whattttt
🤘😎🤘🇬🇧
how to brake properly...yes...very interesting
why not take an oil sample every 1K or 2K km's ?
Makes things complex.
@@mgcharoudin fact.
Ik zie een producent en presentator van een autoprogramma!
