It's worth noting that the prices of these, whilst very similar in this video, have shifted massively in the last 2 years (in the UK at least). I have been researching which to buy: the S6 isn't available from many places, but is around £600. The Matepad Pro is around £330, or available on sale for £230 - That's 60% lower than the Samsung! Can't justify paying more than double for the samsung 👍
> "the design of both tablets is similar ..." They're both flat rectangles. There's not much opportunity for dissimilarity. NB.. i'd prefer it if the device designers paid less attention to how the device would look in an ad, and pay more attention to the practical ergonomics of holding the things.
Hey I am first time user on Huawei. I'm kinda like to Huawei. For my opinion, it's good for gaming. I replaced my Samsung Tab S4 to Huawei Matepad Pro. I'm using Play Store on this device. Since lack of Google services, users will face some problems. So I downloaded APK pure. But I have no idea to suggest Samsung Tab S6 of Huawei Matepad Pro.
Great Review 🤗 Biggest problem for Huawei lack of Google services is just pushing it further behind its competitors. This will have a big impact on the majority of users in Europe and the US. This is just one of the wider problems for Huwaei
I'm not going to be fooled by the iPad knockoff design of the Huawei and those slim bessels. Tab S6 in a heartbeat. AMOLED, free stylus, Snapdragon 855 SoC is a go for me
Which iPad does have a punchhole camera design like Huawei? As long as you can't name one, get lost with your propaganda. No you can't be not going to be fooled when you have already been.
Considering how overpowered smartphones are it's better to buy a tablet for mobile pc/media consumption and a phone for the outside (could be a mid range like the A71) or a Mi10Pro Zoom $500 with the 865, 8GB+256GB. Tablets offers more for less price.
You are paying for miniaturization for smartphones that’s why they cost so much compared to an equally powered tablet. The infrastructure to manufacture something with as many features but 2/3 smaller volumetrically is that much more complex and resource intensively design and manufacture wise.

Hi Thanks for the review, I'm not sure I got it but here is my question. I got a P30 pro where Google is still available. Can I simply copy all the apps I got on my phone to use them on the matepad pro? Or will the apps be installed but not available? Thanks a lot

Hiii what do you think about the s6 lite and the mateoad 10.4? I am concern about how do the spen and mpencil perform, which one will have better note taking compatibility and writing experience, thanks in advance if you happen to reply!
I prefer S Pen because replacement tips are easy to find, and there's no battery in the pen. Writing experience is good for both, but different because S Pen has rubber like tip and Huawei is hard tip.
I will pick based on price, so I will go with Huawei. Personally I prefer LCD over AMOLED. Colours on AMOLED are so vibrant they look and feel unreal, to me.
its crazy how i thought the s6 brezels was small but a lil bit bigger than the ipad pro, but then H-Bomb comes out the waterwerks and boom, smaller bars.
It's not Impossible to make slim bezels for tablets. Take Galaxy Fold for example, it's much harder to make compared to standard tablet design because Fold is foldable. But the problem is it's not necessary. It makes the usage harder and there's no need for a punch hole in tablets.
Please can someone help... on the huawei mate pro can I download the bt sport football app for football matches and the now tv sport app for football matches ???
I don’t think any support that for tablets. Even iPad Pro front cameras is only recording 1080p 60fps which is a locked setting. Just buy a modern phone as most of them support 4K 30fps or 4K 60fps for the front camera.
so, Samsung is the clear winner here, from the functionality, the pen performance, the apps etc... especially the price (at least in my country) .. where Samsung is significantly cheaper (around 150 USD gap)

Misleading, not having a playstore is different than not having a google mobile services sertification. Hola amigo.
I have a Huawei Mate 20x cellphone and they have two versions. The international version does have Google Play Store while the Chinese version doesn't have it but can be installed by third party. I believe the inability to install the Play Store comes from the sanction imposed by the US Federal government. Google and it's apps will not work with Huawei such as RUclips and GMail.
