@@saida1051 I've used both and personally, I think the Tab S is better than the iPad, however, if you already have an iPhone/Apple ecosystem devices, you'll have a better experience with the iPad and should get that one instead. But if you don't care about ecosystems and just want a good tablet, I'd say Tab S is better. Likewise if you have a Samsung phone/Samsung eco system, go with the Tab S cause theres some really cool features with it

I have the S9+ and there's a part of me that wishes I had gotten the S9 instead, because when I'm using it as a tablet (held with both hands), it's harder to reach the center of the screen.
I went to the shop to see difference size between S9 and S9+. In just few moments I have realised that with S9+ if i hold tablet with both hands i also cant reach the center of the screen 😂. With S9+ i didnt like to hold it with my hands, it is too big, to heavy. So yes i took the regular S9 😊. It is a small, badass portable worhorse.

Im on the other side of the spectrum, part of me wants to return the S9 and buy S9+ but the price difference is 200 euro here and that is way too much for few inches, I prefer the silver, white pen on S9, they dont sell the S9+ here, with this color variation. Im really torn..:D
I have the S9 regular, to get the most out of the screen estate: 1 hide or turn off the app task bar, 2 zet zoom to smallest at display settings. Really helped with maximizing the vertical space.

The S9 and S9+ cost the same here in Sweden today. Ordered both to see what I prefer. A big selling point for the Plus is that it has a keyboard cover with track pad and dedicated volume buttons etc.
Just for size alone, I feel like the Plus is the largest size I want a tablet to be. At the size of the Ultra, I feel like I should just buy a... Galaxy Book, where I can use Window, a more familiar OS.
I think the S9+ has just the perfect size. I'm going to replace my S8 Ultra that I recently still had and already ordered the S9+, because the ultra one was too big for me. I can't wait for it to arrive.

Samsung tends to use a warmer calibration on amoleds from what I've seen. I'm comparing my s6 lite with the s9 and you can see the yellower whites but it's not so noticeable. Sadly you can't control white balance in natural mode, only on vivid.

I was looking at the S8+ on sale and an open box S9 for a little cheaper than the sale price of the S8+ and after getting the S9, I think I would have definitely regretted getting the S8+. The S9 compared to my old iPad Mini already feels gigantic and a lot heavier, and I don't think the 12.4 would've worked for me at all, though if Samsung refreshes or does something for a Tab S10, I would consider trading in the S9 and trying out a future S10+ if they make one, maybe I would like it then.

An underrated aspect of buying a tablet especially these Samsung tablets is how compatible are they with apps. Particularly productivity apps. For those of us that are pro or amateur media creators and editors a question that reviewers would be wise to cover is does this tablet work with Adobe mobile apps like Photoshop or Rush, does it work with Cyberlinks Power Director, Nikon's WMU app ect ect. Don't forget about the segment of people that are professionals or amateurs and really would like to use the tablet as a mobile extension of their work machines. I think I'm going to get the S9+, but just the other day I went to the local best buy to see the tablets myself and asked the worker if they had one I could see and try cause I want to know that if I bought the tablet that it would work with the mobile app I like to use when I'm out and about, on the move.

In my opinion, the S9 Ultra defeats the purpose of having an android tablet because of its size. An android tablet should never be larger than your laptop. Android tablets to me are meant to be something that you pull out for light work, like email, watching videos, listening to music, taking a photo, or even reading a book on the go. Something else I wish every RUclipsr would stop doing is trying to compare android os tablets to windows tablets. They are not even the same thing. One is a dedicated desktop os and the other isn't. You cannot do with a tablet what you can do with a desktop os like windows or macos. If you could, I doubt many people would even bother buying actual laptops anymore and just buy android tablets instead.

Do you think that the s9+ FE is better for school than the regular S9? Split screen is not my main use, but I would use it sometimes to open 2 PDFs. @ayotsukki3887 I just bought the S9 FE+, I haven't used much since it just arrived, but I'm very happy with my decision. Screen size is perfect for me, it's great for note taking, and image quality for some casual netflix is also amazing. If you have the extra cash, go for the regular S9, but I see that as a luxury, not a necessity, if you don't have money to spare, you'll be super happy with the FE+

I think the s9 is too small, at least for me, I was quite surprised, I used to think it would be just a little smaller than the ipad air (the only tablet I had used before) but it was surprisingly tiny. If you have small hands and use it sideways to write notes, maybe that's enough, but if you need split screen, I think it's too small
The regular and plus are very similar, and if u go with either, the real difference it between plus and ultra, and if you're a heavy multitasker, then get the ultra the regular and plus are going to kinda feel cramped the ultra is more on par with laptop. If probability is the thing going for, either will please you, and if u could find the plus for similar price I'd say go for that

Clip Studio will benefit from a larger display since there are many UI elements. Other benefits of the big display are you can use split screen mode and SamsungDex more effectively. If you don’t need all that, you can go with smaller display

I also thought about splitting the screen but I don't really use it much, and I've never used SS Dex so I don't know if I really need it or not. Choose based on the software you want to use. For drawing, both are equally good so you have to choose base on other features. Since I have many movies from Apple iTunes, I will go with iPad. But I also have Samsung tablet

Hey! An S7+ user here. The tempered glass doesn't "improve" the writing experience, although it protects the device screen. I have been using one for over two years now, and as a student, it doesn't get in the way of writing. I also observed that the matte screen tends to wear out the pen tip.

Even if it is lower brightness with S9+, it is still very bright. But all three tablets are still not bright enough for use under direct sunlight. But in bright room or under shade, they are all bright.

Similar here, but I went with S9. iPad mini is outdated and I do not want for next version as I have a feeling that the screen will not be as good as S9, probably they will leave 60hz. Hey, what would you reccomend if i can buy s9Fe+ for 2695zł(673$) or S8+ for 3400zł (850$)? I want it also for watching content and maybe photo editing. 11-inch is not small and big enough for taking notes. Advantage of bigger screen is for split screen mode, reading PDFs (where text size cannot be adjusted), and using as external display. Maybe S9

I've owned the 11" S9 for two weeks now. I had the same concerns about eye strain as you because I had a Lenovo Duet 5 Chromebook which made me feel like I was going cross eyed! So far it has not been an issue with the S9. There is a very mild 'strain' but nothing to worry about. It might be that the 120hz smoother motion on the screen mitigates the implementation of PWM on the S9 compared to the 60hz on the Duet5. I should also point out that I do not use the S9 for long periods of time watching movies/Netlfix etc..

I use an S7 plus, and I had a headache in the first few months of use. I use the tablet daily for note-taking and studying, and I don't have headaches as before. You might want to also invest in a blue-cut lens. I wear glasses already, adding the blue cut to my lens made a huuuge difference.

The 5g version is basically a larger phone. You'll be able to call, text, and get Internet access (no wifi or phone needed). You can even use it as a hotspot to provide wifi for your laptop and other devices
They are all good and same capabilities. There are three sizes to choose from and having more options is good. People can choose base on their preference. The Ultra tablet can be a bit too big
That's just silly. They are basically the same except for their size. If anything, the s9+ is the most neutral of all (best of both worlds). So best thing is you go to a shop and see which size you prefer by testing a few different things.
The differences between regular and plus is not much the difference between plus and ultra is day and night the plus doesn't seem much of a difference.
Look at the software you use, then see if that software is available on the table or PC. That will give you the answer. If you don't need desktop software, tablets are quite convenient and way more portable.

Depends on your budget and how much you want to spend. The bigger display is better than smaller for split screen use, reading PDFs, use as external wireless display. E.g. for me I use the tablet as external monitor often so bigger is better for me.

Even the S7+ is still a rather powerful tablet today. I won't worry about battery life since there's fast charging. If you have to bring your tablet out often, 11-inch is good. If you use SamsungDex, wireless external display or split screen often, 12.4-inch is good.

S9+ is better than S9 on viewing A4 attachments. I don't need to pinch & zoom any more.
to me the s9 didn't have the 512gb memory option so i went for the s9+

8 gen 3 is gonna be on tsmc and its smashing in both cpu gpu and ai..id say get it if you can trade it in raelly good..

The bigger screen is better if you use split screen, SamsungDex and as a wireless external display often. If not, you can go with S9.

There is a market for a huge Android tablet. The good thing is Samsung has three size options so you can choose whichever size suits you

@ayotsukki3887 I just bought the S9 FE+, I haven't used much since it just arrived, but I'm very happy with my decision. Screen size is perfect for me, it's great for note taking, and image quality for some casual netflix is also amazing. If you have the extra cash, go for the regular S9, but I see that as a luxury, not a necessity, if you don't have money to spare, you'll be super happy with the FE+

I think the s9 is too small, at least for me, I was quite surprised, I used to think it would be just a little smaller than the ipad air (the only tablet I had used before) but it was surprisingly tiny. If you have small hands and use it sideways to write notes, maybe that's enough, but if you need split screen, I think it's too small

The regular and plus are very similar, and if u go with either, the real difference it between plus and ultra, and if you're a heavy multitasker, then get the ultra the regular and plus are going to kinda feel cramped the ultra is more on par with laptop. If probability is the thing going for, either will please you, and if u could find the plus for similar price I'd say go for that

Clip Studio will benefit from a larger display since there are many UI elements. Other benefits of the big display are you can use split screen mode and SamsungDex more effectively.
If you don’t need all that, you can go with smaller display

I also thought about splitting the screen but I don't really use it much, and I've never used SS Dex so I don't know if I really need it or not. Hey! An S7+ user here. The tempered glass doesn't "improve" the writing experience, although it protects the device screen. I have been using one for over two years now, and as a student, it doesn't get in the way of writing. I also observed that the matte screen tends to wear out the pen tip.

Even if it is lower brightness with S9+, it is still very bright.
But all three tablets are still not bright enough for use under direct sunlight. But in bright room or under shade, they are all bright.

I bought an S9+ when all I wanted was an iPad Mini.
Similar here, but I went with S9. iPad mini is outdated and I do not want for next version as I have a feeling that the screen will not be as good as S9, probably they will leave 60hz.
Wish Samsung made something close to iPad mini size wise, as 11 inch is still too large for me, but I got used to it.

11-inch is not small and big enough for taking notes. Advantage of bigger screen is for split screen mode, reading PDFs (where text size cannot be adjusted), and using as external display.

Has anyone had issues with headaches or eye strain with the Tab S9 11" and its PWM?
I've owned the 11" S9 for two weeks now. I had the same concerns about eye strain as you because I had a Lenovo Duet 5 Chromebook which made me feel like I was going cross eyed! So far it has not been an issue with the S9. There is a very mild 'strain' but nothing to worry about. It might be that the 120hz smoother motion on the screen mitigates the implementation of PWM on the S9 compared to the 60hz on the Duet5. I should also point out that I do not use the S9 for long periods of time watching movies/Netlfix etc..
@@TomUK7 Cheers! Yeah, I had a tab S7 plus and actually downgraded to the S7 because of headaches etc. I guess I'll just stick to the S8 with the LCD just to be sure.
I use an S7 plus, and I had a headache in the first few months of use. I use the tablet daily for note-taking and studying, and I don't have headaches as before. You might want to also invest in a blue-cut lens. I wear glasses already, adding the blue cut to my lens made a huuuge difference.

The 5g version is basically a larger phone. You'll be able to call, text, and get Internet access (no wifi or phone needed). You can even use it as a hotspot to provide wifi for your laptop and other devices

They are all good and same capabilities. There are three sizes to choose from and having more options is good. People can choose base on their preference. The Ultra tablet can be a bit too big
That's just silly. They are basically the same except for their size. If anything, the s9+ is the most neutral of all (best of both worlds). So best thing is you go to a shop and see which size you prefer by testing a few different things.

The bigger display is better than smaller for split screen use, reading PDFs, use as external wireless display. E.g. for me I use the tablet as external monitor often so bigger is better for me.

Even the S7+ is still a rather powerful tablet today. I won't worry about battery life since there's fast charging. If you have to bring your tablet out often, 11-inch is good. If you use SamsungDex, wireless external display or split screen often, 12.4-inch is good.
