I just had to laugh heartily. That's exactly what I found out today too. I tried over 5 different AI detectors today (smodin, quillbot etc). The results blew me away. Books I handwrote years ago were supposedly AI content. Then I inserted an AI created text where I rewrote some passages myself. The AI text was human, and my passages were spit out to me as AI content. Maybe I am an AI and didn't know it yet ...
In any case, I'll give Winston a try. Thanks for your great content!

Interesting you just copied and pasted the words. I would type the words out as well opened two incognito windows pasted in one window and typed in the other to see results. It's just my opinion and could be a controlled test with fewer variables. I kind of believe most of these programs run off of databases of copyright material, but I could be wrong.
what about my student work?
That's not how to interpret the results. It clearly states underneath the scores that it's a confidence rating, the tool is not saying that your radio script is 53% human written, it's saying that the AI is 53% confident that it IS human written. i.e the ai believes it is in fact written by a human, which is of course is correct :)
sure, but the 2.0 was 100% confident it was Human ;)
