I don’t feel sorry for Dave Rubin. He is getting what he deserves. He had the choice to fight for what is right, and instead, he chose the money. Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King, Salvador Allende, stuck to their guns and pay with their lives. He didn’t have to go to such extreme. Great points. I've had conversations with friends when reflecting on people we went to school with decades ago. One friend would say "oh, he was so nice. I really liked him". Another friend and I recounted numerous situations where this person was a bully or generally a massive jerk back in the day. Not just one account, but many ongoing accounts. Our friend responded "well, he was always really nice to me". That's always fascinated me, as someone should be measured on all they do, not just how they are with YOU. A hit piece on a former employee is something I thought Young Turks was above. Disappointment is a part of growing up, I suppose.

They go after Democrats all the time, if they aren't on the same level of Liberal ideology. A former employee who flip flopped into a Conservative seems like a pretty obvious target to me. They've been a little excessive to me lately, but I appreciate they say up front their views.

The Israel thing is what did it. I remember it back when Ruben was a TYT guy, and I really liked him.
Israeli IDF forces just bombed some Palestinian kids playing on the beach, and Daves only defense was... "But Isreal is surrounded". He seemed incapable of delving ant deeper into his own argument, and you could tell there was something wrong in his thinking.
He quit TYT shortly after.

You have to be a little smart to be a late night TV comic/host, or at least likeable. Jimmy Fallon is not that smart or funny but people do seem to like him. Dave Rubin has none of those attributes.
