Excited to see what you do and if there’s any thing I’m doing that I can improve on! I’m not a new player, over 250 hours in the game but I’m always interested in learning new things and also bad at explaining so I can show this to my friends!
thanks! fs19 was recently added to Xbox gamepass and I've really not got into it because I really can't figure out what to do now I'm going to try it again following this video!!!
I'm back?...I absolutely LOVE THAT you played with no mods...im "suffering" also. Got this game way after it was new and I hadn't learned how to drive on pc LMAO...so I junked it into some folder...I did a re-org with Steam game folders and I decided to give it a new try since I've finally learned to drive!!! What fun!!!!! Skyrim is my ultimate favorite!! Thank you sir, Be safe and take care😎
Hello Arthur I enjoy all of your video's. I'm watching FS and Snow runner (normal & hardcore). Just wanted to say that I have played Farming Sim since they first came out and I love them. However, I do not play like anybody else. I make my games as hard as possible. FS19 from scratch no money or equipment, which means you can only do contracts to earn money and you have to use their equipment. It's hard but enjoyable for me. Take care and keep up the good work.
I just started a new game on Ravenport a week ago. I decided to go with only 5-10 most important mods and no DLC because I get a friend to jump in to help and he doesn’t own any DLC. It’s so fun to start at the roots again and I’m glad to see we have very similar ideas. I did manage to cut some trees around the waterfall and flatten the land. Was just enough land to place sheep, chickens and horse pens without sacrificing any of the crop areas.
Thanks for the upload! Total agreement about farm manager mode being harrrrrrd lol, though I wonder if it'd doable with ranching. Horses maybe, but that's a lot of riding.
I'm watching your video because I just bought Farm Sim 22, but my computer won't run it, so I bought Farm Sim 19 and it runs fine. I played the tutorial (New Farmer mode) and I harvested some wheat and then tilled a field. But then the tutorial just ended and I haven't a clue what to do next. Don't know anything about farming, so here I am... I'm glad you're playing with mods and DLC off because that's what I have for now. If I like the game, then I'll buy some DLC and mods...
Dang, I never finished this series - Once the field is tilled you can decide what you want to plant and plant. For ease I would stick with Wheat, Barely, Canola, Soybean - all the things your harvester can harvest basically. Then fertilze at least once.
@@kingarthursims NVM. I switched to a newer version of Proton (I'm playing on Steam) and was able to get FS22 to run. I'm really enjoying it, despite the steep learning curve!
Arthur you said the people have to use herbicides kill the weeds. you forgot to mention when the weeds are young you can use a weeder to remove and don't need to use herbicides to kill the weeds.
We'll get into the deeper stuff later. Things like weeders and subsoilers will get covered as we use them in game. Right now I am trying to keep it simple for the viewers.
Ya i made my farm an organic(at least no herbicides) one and just slow time after planting so I have time to weed before they grow to full weeds and cant be removed 😁
You assume wrongly! Long time player since before field borders really mattered. (In i think it was 09, running even a cultuvator created new fields, and it could not be toggled off. It also raised the ground slightly so eventually, the entire map became one giant field that covered all the roads and everything.) Just want to know the details for this one and enjoy some farm sim videos, heh. I always love using those style tippers and chaining them together in trains.
Love the video, teaching me a lot! New subbie here!🥰 heading over to your Felsbrunn series now!!! Thanks - oh btw: "there", "their", "they're".....be safe & take care😎
I enjoyed this no Mod approach, but 'what if' you were able to tell us what the seed replenisher mod is that you mentioned at the start of the episode. Thanks!
23:43 - what button did you press here, i am back from taking a 3 year break and i cannot figure out how to open the store to buy stuff. its infuriating!
yes, thank you. appreciate that. appreciate your keen awareness of the question at hand. i had the help menu turned off. i am a returning player from about 2 1/2 years ago. i was the guy who broke the video first about soybeans changing with the Precision Farming. i play Seasons and PF starat from scratch with a few land useage income mods for income to help offset bank loan interest. it is normal to lose money for the 1st 2 years when i play my seasons at 9 days per, hard economy, weeds, crop destruction, hardcore can only use income mods once so as to not get overpowered. no other income mods, Ravenport for the delivery missions cause they are fun.@@kingarthursims
EDIT: about the income mods, i meant i set my own rules where i can only use one building per income mod, i have one exception where i made 5 bee hives with one mod. it is best to edit long comments like this otherwise the algorithm gets fussy and may accidentally delete the whole thing or send it to qaurantine and never get seen, lagh out loud,
FS22 is a lot more realistic but takes longer to farm, so if you like quick turnaround then FS19 - If you like better simulation (like dealing with seasons) then FS22 is better.
I appreciate the video and gave it a thumbs up but some of the information within just the first 3 minutes is incorrect. A good enough Harvesters cost as little as $100,000 and in Start From Scratch you start with $1,000,000 + a $250,000 loan. EDIT: This was suppose to say Farm Manager...not Start From Scratch. Also, after review I was wrong anyways. The starting funds that he mentions include a full bank loan and that didn't register with me the first time I heard it. Peace.
@@turdburger9947 I mistyped that and was confused by his wording (corrected now)...He claimed that you start with $1.5 million in Farm Manager but you don't. What he was referring to was how much you would start with if you take out a full loan. That part didn't register with me so I made the false claim that they were incorrect. As far as my original post...it was suppose to say Farm Manager and not Start From Scratch. Thanks for the heads up as it caused me to re-watch the video to find my mistake. Peace.
Honestly once u get past the learning process of the game and try to expand u realise a pretty big roadblock and imo a big design flaw of the game that i hope isent in fs22. Money. The money u earn from the starting fields per harvest is hillariously low due to there unnecessarily small size. So u might think then okey my first expense is gonna be a medium field and that is a good ide. But then u find out that trying to Plow, Cultivate, Seed, Lime, Fertilize multiple times and harvest a medium size field using the VERY small equipment that is in no way supposed to be used for other then the VERY small fields that u start with is gonna take mutch longer then it is worth. So now u need bigger equipments and apart from a few things that isent terribly expensive. But your current tractor are to low on horsepower to be able to effectivly use them. So u need a bigger tractor and that IS expensive. Any tractor below 210-250ish horsepower are practicly useless for equipment that is around 6m wide and unless u wanna sit for literly hours irl to just cover 1 medium field u need that 6m gear. Each 1 of these issues is not terrable by itself but to solve 1 u need the other and so the loop goes on and it becomes a big problem for new players as it dosent feel like u are getting anywhere. Luckily there is a legit in-game fix to this and that is to invest in a horse paddock as fast as possable and fill it up with horses. Train (ride) the horses each day and then when there value is 100% after around 8 days u sell them for a BIG profit while ofc doing the regular farming on your fields. This is the best way to avoid that huge money roadblock that u will get and u dont have to max out your bank loan every time u wanna buy something new as u will get bored by the small stuff very fast after using it for several days and once u look at the prices of some things u quickly notice that big roadblock. The game is really good. But only once u get past that early roadblock, hence why ppl tend to "add" money to upgrade a few things before starting there farming.
You should play with Help panel turned on, so folks can see the available options and key presses to make them happen.
Will do!

Agreed. I remember watching back in the day and have been hooked ever since. Brings back memories of being silage kings 😂
Awesome Arthur as usual mate keep it up

Glad I could help!
For new players. You can also sell the buildings that come in “new farmer” in the garage.
I have - great tip!
Love these videos
Nice guide btw 😃
Honestly looking forward to some of this, I’ve got 15 17 and 19, but I got 19 for free, and I e always been kind of intimidated to try it

Did you get credit for the seeds that were in the drill when you sold it?
That only happens on a contract where you borrowed the equipment. It's up to you to unload the seed before you sell equipment!
Arthur modern farm tractors don't have gasoline engines they have diesel engines.
How do find part 2
Can you give me a link for the replencment mod? Is have not heard of that is one till now

Hi
Using government subsidy you never run out of money I have 10 million
correct, though that kinda defeats the purpose of the game, which is to save up and expand. Once you own everything there isn't much left lol
is Farming Simulator free on PC?
No, not that I know of
That sometimes happens when new game comes out - FS22 comes out end of November, so you might see FS19 or earlier at sale prices/free.
thank you both of you 😊👍
