2012 Raptor 6.2 Exhaust Leak- Fix

  • Walked out today and found a stud with a nut laying on the driveway. Found out it was the right rear exhaust stud for my truck. This video show how I went about repairing the problem.

    Drivers side rear stud.

    Damn, I have a 6.2L F150, so damn rusty in NY. You are lucky there how nice cars stay. Getting ready to do the plugs. 70k is just about it before they marry the engine here.

      I have seen the undercarriage of Northern cars. Would not wish that on anyone.

    Looks like same stud broke on my 2012 6.2l. I though I may be replacing the gasket but looks like you just replaced the stud and left gasket in place. Is that correct? Thx

      That is correct. I do not expect this to last as long as the factory original job but was not interested in totally removing the manifold at this time. I am saving up and looking at headers and aftermarket exhaust.
