Hi Andy, i ended up cutting up my new seal because it was just a tad bigger and I tried many times to install it like that until I got pissed off and decided to cut it and it went in in less the minute. Now, there is a small gap between the two ends of the seal that bothers the heck out of me😅

a high temp hair dryer around the edge may have helped the seal to be more plyable.
