Haru is not related to him and does not appear in the manga because she is not canon. in his origin short story chapter 16 of volume 32 of the manga it is reveal that Toshiro grew up in the 1 district of west Rukongai in the soul society as a child alongside his grandmother who is unnamed and Momo who is his childhood friend. in the chapter he meets Rangiku in west Rukongai who notices that he is leaking his spirit energy which is causing him to freeze his grandmother and tells him to become as soul reaper. with this all being said Toshiro was never human as souls can be born having never been human by other souls. Examples include but are not limited to souls that are part of the noble families like Byakuya, Yoruichi, Soifon , and Nanao. if you want a more notable example of two souls giving birth to another soul that was never human look at Rukia and Renji who are two souls that gave birth to another soul that being their daughter Ichika.

Ichigo never CHANGED from what he was, the guy was a Soul Reaper by birth as much as he was everything else - the power was just dormant due to how everything was mixed together. This is cool, but you ignore the fact that this would mean that Ichigo died and wore a gigai from the moment he got Soul reaper powers from Rukia, then regained his human body when Byakuya stabbed him, only to lose it again during the training. Rather what happened is that because Ichigo is a Shinigami/Soul Reaper from birth, he has both an actual human body and the ability to be a full konpaku without the chains of fate binding him. His body was never a gigai, it was his real human body the whole time.
