No. The problem with horror movies is things like RUclips. No offense, of course. It's a matter of availability. Also desensitizing. We used to have to wait to see a movie at theaters. And when we finally did, it was great because it was somewhat rare. Look at "Saturday morning cartoons" . Kids liked them, for the most part, because they were rare. Same with wrestling. It used to show once a week. Maybe twice, if you were lucky. Now, every channel has a wrestling program. Jason scared the crap out of me when I was a tiny bopper. But he was kind of rare. The more we hear a certain story, the less sensitive we are to it. Sucks
There is a ton of great new horror out there! It's my favorite genre. Yes, for sure there is a lot of basic redundant crap like this coming out all the time, but there are incredible hidden gems too. just gotta venture out of the mainstream. MANDY is so awesome. House of the Devil, super scary. Hereditary, the VVitch, Babadook....etc. Also check out foreign horror films. Geez Bacon just made another terrible attempt at a horror movie "You Should've Left" or something like that, anyways it's awful, avoid at all costs. Too bad, hes one of my favs. Mystic River and Cop Car are two great thrillers he made in recent years.

TheGuileRaven I know all about all of that....Sort of. I think that the game story would make for a better movie, but that's just my opinion. It's really hard to sell the kind of outfit that the comic book version wears. I never played or watched the second game so I can't really speak all that much on it. Just to get all the facts straight I never read the comics, and didn't know there was a series. I just feel like super hero suits are hard to do,. Or rather in this case "anti hero". In short I feel like the game story would make a good movie but the comic book version would make a good anime (style) show.
I just saw this movie yesterday I think it is really good so i don't know why people say it's not I rated it 10/10 and my friends did too, honestly I recommend watching it
+jack of blades I was actually hoping that this would have something to do with THAT Darkness. But no, it's just the usual demons and curses that are being milked for every unoriginal half of a jumpscare their worn utters can bleed.
Well, if I remember right, Jackie was in the mob, or somehow related to it. I could see Kevin Bacon playing a mobster who becomes entangled with a demonic entity and amasses a morbidly impressive body count. I mean, yeah, it would be a spin off, but I'd rather have a good spin off movie than one that does a crappy job of following the story.
You can see a dog at the following time in this video at 1:20 Dog Spelled Backwards Is God and it says, God Can't Help You. 2:10 Now that's some Ryan Hardy Kevin bacon shit right there.
+RandomGamerCory People like you make the movie seem racist when the movie is based off Anasazi legends if you know anything about. Navajo know the little superstition about not to disturb so, you would probably go disturb anyways. Although, its just a legend.

This doesn't even look scary. Tbh, I actually got pretty sad when I saw all of the handprints on the wall because it made me think about all the Native Americans who's lives were taken.

question is how long ago was this filmed because the kid that plays Bruce Wayne in Gotham looks younger here than he did in the first episode of Gotham
The most fun about this movie: Kevin Bacon..glasses or not???!!! Kevin walks outside to enther his house with glasses he opens the door..enters the house without glasses!!!! and that happens in a lot of scenes. The hardest pass would of course be showing it is a monster, but for final reveal in a believable way it was actually just the kid's condition, but than that possibility must remain open to a degree (that's the hard part). Here's the story: Original dude from Friday the 13th (IDK his character's name), his wife Rose from Silent Hill, and their kids Lissa Dragomir and Bruce Wayne head out to the Grand Canyon on what they think is a fun family road trip. But Bruce discovers the Dark Cave, an underground haunt (lol) where creepy unknown never-really-mentioned-before Canyon spirits dwell. native spirits haunting an upper middle class suburban white family. I liked this movie better back when it was called Poltergeist
And there you have it. I knew this plot seemed familiar.
+Bruce Rhodes It wasn't Native spirits in Poltergeist.
+07foxmulder well the movie did reference that it was built over a cemetery. I thought they meant an Indian burial ground.
Bruce Rhodes Nah, you're thinking Amityville Horror. Poltergeist was just your basic run of the mill cemetery.
+07foxmulder ahh ok

Someone should make a movie based on The Darkness video game. Better then this "spirits in the house and possessing the kid" we get every year
Totally agree man
+crazychris4124 I would love a movie based "The Darkness" video game.
+crazychris4124 The video game is based on a comic which is actually connect to witchblade in case you have seen the anime or live action tv show.

Remember when Kevin Bacon was in good horror movies like Friday the 13th?
PRHILL9696 he plays the same role over and over same plot even in his new movie
He thought the Darkness was his ally. BUT he merely adopted the dark, he was not born in it or molded by it.

which is ironic because Ivy from Gotham is in that

When the trailer is better than the actual movie.

Looks like it will be pretty good, but the fact that it is coming out on Friday the 13th makes me want them to make a new Jason Voorhees movie
Finally! A movie about my culture ❤️

actually... palm prints are significant in this story...

What does Bruce Wayne think hese doing
Here's the story: Original dude from Friday the 13th (IDK his character's name), his wife Rose from Silent Hill, and their kids Lissa Dragomir and Bruce Wayne head out to the Grand Canyon on what they think is a fun family road trip.
