Hi Cindy. I didn´t use an especific measure. Depends on the size of your head. My head is very big so I've made a big hat.

They are metal pieces to help fold the hat brim and keep it curved.

I have the boots, they are just low ankle brown cowboy boots with no thread pattern and a Cuban heel
