  • Alice in Wonderland is such a fun and fantastical movie and it was so fun to recreate the Mad Hatter's hat for my dad's costume! I didn't sew anything on this hat, but that hot glue gun was used to full advantage. Be prepared for it to go through an ugly stage or two, however once it's all done it will look fantastic!!

    I have watched so many videos on how to make a top hat and this is the EASIEST!! After cutting one side of a piece of cardboard into so many strips and then the other side then having to deal with all those pieces and then making sure you line up each one correctly or your hat is all wonky, You made it so simple!! 3 pieces, seriously!! This is a life saver! Thank you so much.

    You are my hero for a super quick hat for my mom's tea. I make real felted hats and that was going to be too time consuming for an hourlong luncheon. This is perfect.

    This hat is great! Way more economical than buying one and you made it so easy to make. So glad I found your video. I’m throwing a wedding shower with an Alice theme and this will be perfect. Thank you for sharing.

      You want something big, but it doesn't have to be huge. Mine was kind of a medium amazon box if I remember correctly.

    How did you decide the size for the head?

    • @AdventuringFoodie
      @AdventuringFoodie  4 года назад +1

      I measured around his head with a tape measure at the point he wanted the hat to sit.

    • @KpopBishForever
      @KpopBishForever 4 года назад

      Adventuring Foodie okay. Sorry I’m bad at math, once you measured the size (let’s say 16in) , how’d you figure out what to use for the protractor?

    • @AdventuringFoodie
      @AdventuringFoodie  4 года назад +1

      @@KpopBishForever No problem. You just half the measurement to set the protractor.
