In Tamarindo now. It is convenient with no car. Food is a problem. Good for a solo traveler. Right now there are more Canadians than USA folks.

That's more or less how I experienced it as well :)
Nothing says "I know Tamarindo" like both misspelling Tamarindo in your thumbnail AND being in Flamingo instead of Tamarindo when you do your review.
Also, most expats are Canadians, and it feels like you just passed on on hearsay.
It really feels like you spent 10 mins there, and decided to create a clickbait RUclips. Do better. Just my personal opinion.

Your opinion is honored here as well. So thanks for sharing Michael. Perhaps my 600+ other videos about Costa Rica helps you see, this is not a "hype" for me at all. ;)
@@DirkandMuriel My wife and I have watched a lot of your videos, some of which we found useful or informative. Generally though, we watch your channel as infrequently as possible as we are not fans of your content's format, and tend to prefer quality over quantity. This is why I say do better. You seem like a wonderful person with your heart in the right place, but after putting out 600+ videos I would hope the more recent ones would have reached a quality of content which is greater than what this one represents.
For a channel which markets experience and facts, passing on hearsay is really an ugly trait, and something that should have been avoided - just to pick a single example of many.
We would love to watch more of your (and other people's videos), but you have to meet us halfway and produce things worth watching. Until then, we are not your target market. Happy travels and good luck.
