Is Tamarindo a gringo town now ? Yes. Is it very expensive even for Costa Rica? Yes . Do I still think it’s the best city beach in Costa Rica ? Yes . Do I still go every year (I am Tico) ? Absolutely.
Thanks for watching and commenting. I absolutely agree with all the above. We love it in Tamarindo and we'll keep coming back every chance we have. It just has some sort of magnetic pull. De que parte de Costa Rica eres? Saludos!
If anyone is considering Cost Roca, I urge you to come and research things before moving or even visiting. It is extremely expensive to the point that’s irritating. Especially the costal areas. Restaurants are more expensive than California. Same with groceries. Housing too especially near the beach. The worst part is drug related crimes are also increasing.
How I wish I could say you are wrong. Yes, it has become quite expensive. Especially on the coast where a lot of tourism and expats alike love to be. Which also attacks the drug related crimes. Really a shame, as it's such a beautiful country.
The housing in Costa Rica is nowhere near what it is in California. I can buy a house in CR with an ocean view for $500,000 or less. I see them everyday. Do you know how much a view of the ocean would be in California??? Guaranteed no less than $2,000,000!!! There are still good real estate opportunities in Costa Rica.
@@BakkerfeelingAdventures Tamarindo is everything I can't stand about Costa Rica. Gringos driving up prices, the beach isnt even that nice. Theres a hundred better beaches here than tamarindo.
@@jimdandy3460 Yes, unfortunately you are very right. Sadly it's not just Tamarindo where gringos drive up te prices, although it does take the lead. And as for beaches, absolutely agreed. Better, more tropical, more quiet and more secluded.
Thanks for watching! Check our Tamarindo playlist to see all the mentioned places and more🍿👉 ruclips.net/p/PLCeA-UQjoRZlNcldQeSKZvuqPD43oPpI7
