By the time I watched this I saw Chris and Jons vid so this is the 3rd time seeing all this but you guys all made it very different so it worked very well. Love the vids from all you guys 4 guys on a boat is awesome that's a Tuffy for ya😎
congrats Lee, sorry for your loss robbie. I feel your pain recently lost a tank solo nettin. you guys should come fish the Ottawa river or St.Lawrence in Canada, plenty of fat 50+
What lakes are you fishing on? I have a cabin on Leech Lake in northern Minnesota and I have not caught a musky yet but I am trying so hard to catch one, and knowing the right spot will help a lot catching them. Thanks.
You guys are really fun to watch. Bring Chris back for another trip soon? I've watched this video many many times. I hope to one day hit the 50 mark. Cheers boys
These guys are good and they certainly know how to catch Musky! Don't know how smart it is to be barefoot in a musky boat. Likely will learn the hard way.
shawn brown, not sure where there? Best setup for musky wod be a 9' xheavy, with a wide spool reel, spooled with 80lb Sufix braid. Baits would be a size 8 or double 9 bucktail, mini Medussa, and a Lee Lure Water Chopper or other tailbait topwater.
Ben Nelson, we don't have a link for you but we will make one for ya and everyone to learn the safest process for the fisherman and the fish. Stay posted.
Awesome fish !!! My best in Jersey last year P.B. 52 inch mountain lake Buttzville you guys have some cool baits ,I used a 10 in perch fly 9 wt rod ,rock on guys !!
Hell yeah. I'm trying to catch musky here in South Dakota and so far only caught 30 inch Tiger and one fry sized one while small mouth fishing. What water temp in late spring do they feed the most?
Thanks, guess I got a while. The water temps have barely reached 60 then we had this cold front today with rough winds. I'm fishing from shore so makes it difficult.
This older guy knows his stuff man I’m impressed for sure whole system down really thinking about the fish first the Excitement is hard to beat but he’s defeated it I wish I had him to tell me to keep my pole down when I hooked one in Iowa lake okaboji it’s was a good musky hard to say length but at least 45 by the head on this thing and that was exactly my problem I had my rod high had the fishes head out of the water coming in and lost it I wanted one so bad after seeing then trophies
I feel so bad for you, took 10 years to catch a big one. I have been fishing for Musky over 40 years and only caught one casting that was 32.5 inches. And I do hold my mouth right.;-)
A few months ago, i was out fishing at white bear lake in the metro area and saw a Muskie very similar in size to that first one in the video. This part of the lake was at the veterans memorial park. You should check out that lake if you're looking to catch monster Muskies.
Hey guys I'd like to invite you to West Virginia to fish and the reason is that it's stuffed with Muskies. I don't know of many water bodies in the mid-northern area that don't have at least a few and some are absolutely loaded. West Virginia doesn't have a lot of big lakes and the biggest are still less than 3000 acres, but there are musky in almost all of them. The best locations are Stonewall Jackson Lake, Stonecoal lake, North bend lake, Monongahela river, and the Little Kanawha river. Stonewall is generally considered the best for big 50+ inchers, but Stonecoal produced a 49 pound behemoth a while back that is our weight record. I know from just observation that the Monongahela is full of musky and they aren't hard to find either. Just follow the outer edge of the weed line and they'll be sitting right there waiting to crush whatever's stupid enough to exit the cover of the veggies. You can watch them destroy fish from down river and it looks like the end of the world. Most of the locals aren't equipped to handle them and so i hear a lot of stories about gigantic muskellunge being brought boatside and lost. So i thought i'd give a shout-out to you pros to come on down and get you some West Virginia musky. As an added incentive, Stonewall jackson and North bend lakes are also hosts to very good trophy bass populations with fish up to about 9 1/2 pounds being caught recently. I'd love to hear back from you soon. Sensei.
We caught a 55 inches last year and it smelled really bad!! Like yours it was really fat and full of perch or walleye in her big healthy stomach!! But getting back to that " slime stink" on her??? Was she damaged goods or just a healthy stinking musky????
Beth Bentson, thanks for watching. We use Chaos Tackle Assault Sticks in the 9' and 9"6" lengths. Here's a link: www.chaostackle.com/product/assault-stick/ (Lee)
OMG! What a monster! That is a wall hanger for sure! You should have kept that one! I would have to keep one that big! Mount that monster on the wall!! You may never catch one like that again! That fish was probably 50 yrs old! That was a trophy!
WOW, ABSOLUTE MONSTER!!!! That is extremely impressive to catch a musky in the central Minnesota system you fish. I can only imagine that with your skill, if you avidly fished the inner Great Lake systems like St. Clair, Green Bay, Georgian Bay, Detroit River or Niagara River you would have got even bigger by now. That must have been a 20 year old fish, whereas, it takes a little over 10 years in places like Georgian Bay to grow that big. That head though...
Robbie your reel is to big your rod is to long your leader should be 60 lb use. smaller clasp 50lb power pro it's the "little"things that matter the most
At about 17 minutes Robbie gets bit and you guys just predict that it's over 50 inches which is ridiculous. Lol you guys sound like every average Joe that loses a fish "it was a giant"
Hell ya lee fish of a lifetime
Chris Bulaw, thanks buddy. Your day is coming...just have to pay a few dues. (Lee)
Hey chris
As-Blu3Solo, exactly how is that clickbait?
8:20 clip of a lifetime
God sent you that fish
Catching this fish on film is a moment in musky fishing history. I’ve watched this video so many times
The pure excitment in your eyes is so genuine and there's not to many fish on this planet that will bring out that fire in an angler. Congrats.
Awesome video guys and congratulations on landing that BEAST Lee! I can't believe the size of the head on that thing.
Best line of the video....Chris Bulaw: I thought it was a perch...9:04

What lakes are you fishing on? I have a cabin on Leech Lake in northern Minnesota and I have not caught a musky yet but I am trying so hard to catch one, and knowing the right spot will help a lot catching them. Thanks.
Nice vid you guys! Congrats on an amazing fish Lee!! Nice work. Some cool action in this video.
Thank you. (Lee)
You guys are really fun to watch. Bring Chris back for another trip soon? I've watched this video many many times. I hope to one day hit the 50 mark. Cheers boys
Haven't seen him in a while.
Hell yea! Love it!! What's your pb Robby? You in the fiddy club?? One day, one day, for me..
My PB is a 54.5x27. Keep Casting and Keep fishing where they live! (Robbie)
Todays Angler wow! That's a porker size right there! One day, I'll be in that club, one day lol.
Sweet video. Congrats on the PB. Question. I really want a tranx 400. Should I get the high, or low gear ratio, if I can only get one? Thanks
These guys are good and they certainly know how to catch Musky! Don't know how smart it is to be barefoot in a musky boat. Likely will learn the hard way.
Anyway to get a sampler of that new bait would be sick
Hope I catch a fish that size one of these days. Great catch.
What's the best place to fish for Musky close to Lynchburg Va.,& what's the best rods, reels,& baits to use for Musky?
shawn brown, not sure where there? Best setup for musky wod be a 9' xheavy, with a wide spool reel, spooled with 80lb Sufix braid. Baits would be a size 8 or double 9 bucktail, mini Medussa, and a Lee Lure Water Chopper or other tailbait topwater.
thank you much!
shawn brown not sure if you can read this but the James river is full
It's amazing the fish gets that big and can get bigger
Amazing as always! Quick question. Where can I get one of those cool hats? Maybe it'll help me get a fish of a lifetime..🤔
Sal Salguero, might know a guy...
Jon B!!!! Awesome fish!!!
Boiler maker sounds sick!
one of my fav bodies of water as well ! really can’t beat it
Great guys, sick edits, dope beats, and nice fish... you guys deserve attention!! Congrats on that monster!!
Jason Lins, thanks for the kind words! (Lee)
Hey Chris i drive the truck at bulaw welding your grandfather said to say hello
I fished the lake and stayed at the resort in jons video. Great Muskie lake and crappies too.
Robbie and Lee could you make a video (or link me to) on how to properly hold a Muskie please?
Ben Nelson, we don't have a link for you but we will make one for ya and everyone to learn the safest process for the fisherman and the fish. Stay posted.
I wish there was a love button!! Nice fish!!
Awesome fish !!! My best in Jersey last year P.B. 52 inch mountain lake Buttzville you guys have some cool baits ,I used a 10 in perch fly 9 wt rod ,rock on guys !!
That's a tank!
dang that fish at 4:25 is missing half it's face...
that can happen with a bad hook removal :(
What lakes are you guys based around? Asking because I'm from Minnesota myself, fishing around Bemidji.
Wyre The God Mille Lacs has some of the biggest sizes in the state.
One of my favorite videos!
Crap I just got my pb 50.5 x 27 and some change yours makes mine look tiny dang what a tanker! Late but mega congrats
Hell yeah. I'm trying to catch musky here in South Dakota and so far only caught 30 inch Tiger and one fry sized one while small mouth fishing. What water temp in late spring do they feed the most?
Start really bangin at 70
Thanks, guess I got a while. The water temps have barely reached 60 then we had this cold front today with rough winds. I'm fishing from shore so makes it difficult.
I wish i could afford one of these trips with you guys.
Keep up the good work guys 👍👍👍
That was a monster. It made his knees buckle.
Congrats. Incredible size.
do you know of a great fishing guide for musky fishing on mille lacs?
Nice fish !
Thank you kindly!
Wow! What a freaking Beast! Congrats!
Horse headed beasts! Keep’em coming!
I wish yall would tell what big lakes you're on more often
I wanna fish with Lee... What Muskie guy !!!!
Speaking of your biggest fish, who would you use to make a muskie replica?
Advanced Taxidermy. They just did a 48x23 Northern pike for my buddy, looks awesome.
Not cheap though......
I feel so bad for you, took 10 years to catch a big one. I have been fishing for Musky over 40 years and only caught one casting that was 32.5 inches. And I do hold my mouth right.;-)
I think I'm gonna quit musky fishing and just watch you guys.
It's less painful.
Never mind, I just had a follow!
....that's musky fishing
And so the cycle of pain continues lol but seriously I watch these videos and it just seems like it’s not even real
Sam Zuchowski same.. took me 2 years to land one. And was a 30 inch fish. 50+ seems like a fairy tale dream lol
What lakes where you on? Curious cuz I live in mn

you guys are awesome and i think lee is funny

or just a healthy stinking musky????
Huh, not sure
Do you think it survived afterward?
Absolutely, fish took off quite quick and very strong. Someone raised her a couple weeks later we believe.
The biggest ones are the one you miss sometime!
P.S Congrats on the giant!!!
What's with the Muskie missing 1/2 its mouth? Never seen that.
Celeste Main I noticed that too. Crazy
Celeste Main, yeah that fish had some pretty bad damage from a previous catch. It didnt seem to hurt the fishes ability to stay fat! (Lee)
Robbies moan on that hook set made my day😂😂😂
Was there a replica mount made of this fish
Not yet☹
It would be an awesome. Awesome fish man
Holy crap. That's a super tanker.
Loved that edir
Thanks!
What kind of rods do you guys use
Beth Bentson, thanks for watching. We use Chaos Tackle Assault Sticks in the 9' and 9"6" lengths. Here's a link: www.chaostackle.com/product/assault-stick/ (Lee)
Dam Lee almost got out of your hands and back in the water 💦 close one !

Someone else caught that same fish 2 months later so 100% catch and release
Have you guys ever fish Cave run Lake in Morehead Kentucky. A lot of. 55 plus.
Never heard of one 55 from there...
There was one 54 caught out of there 12 years ago and that one cokehead guide had caught one a few years before as well.
Wierd the state record was caught at cave run by a 14 year old and it was 54 inches long x 26 1/2 , don’t think a lot of 55s come out of cave run
what lake in MN? was it minnetonka?
