Todays Angler: I've fished the Madison lakes for many years, but consider myself very much an amateur. PB: Muskie 44 1/2"; LMB about 5#s; Northern Pike 30"+; Bluegill 10 1/2"; lots of panfish; lots of fun; But it took 30+ years to accumulate this list. You guys know more about the local lakes than I do. Fishing with you would benefit me, but may not benefit you. Let me know your thoughts. No problem either way. I'll still think you are the best RUclips fishing channel. Thanks

Used to live a mile away from Rollie and Helen's bait shop and got bait there often till Strictly Walleye came around in the early 90s. One of my friends was a guide for Greg Bohn and we fished together quite a bit back then. I saw his giant 56 or 57in musky right after he caught it. Haven't been to Minocqua in quite some time.. 2007 I think.

I catch more big pike bumping the lure on the bottom than on a straight retrieve... could be the same with Muskie?

What a cringe this is! You are just overhyping these musky's. In comparrison pikes are much more stronger, maybe in the US they are weak but in other countries pikes are much more healthier and stronger. So stop overhyping!
