    Hello, thank you for your response the other day, I appreciate.
    Please I’m here again. I applied about 2months ago and my schedule date for my baby is next month (Sept) however the status is still showing pending approval. How many months does this take please, or any help please. I will really appreciate your response. Thank you ❤️

      Hell, Did you submit your passport application? If so, you should have received it in the mail after 6 weeks. If the application is for a child under 5, you should receive the passport within 2 weeks. I received my 6-month-old baby's passport within 23 hours, but it took 5 weeks for my own passport to arrive.

      @@AliceritaE Hello, thank you for your response. I am yet to go for the appointment. But on the application form/page the status shows awaiting approval which someone says until it ticked approved I can’t go for the appointment as I won’t be attended to

    Hello, thanks for your information.
    Can you kindly drop the link to apply for little one?
    The link I saw online was directing me to applying for an adult, as it says the NIN number must match the date of birth.
    Thank you

      Little one needs NIN, too. You need to apply for their NIN first, then the passport.

      @jimohjosephinemoyinoluwa8088 you're welcome. The NIN people are quick. I got little ones NIN on the same day that I applied. Because they only take their photo, no finger prints for under 5s

      @@AliceritaE They are asking for that on the online application form. I've just uploaded my Nigerian passport as the Father. Also, do you think it's strictly by appointment?

      @Udfredii
      Perhaps it is a new requirement for the new website.
      It is strictly by appointment. I went once to plead that I needed to travel, and they claimed that the portal would not recognize my appointment slip until the appointment date.

      @AliceritaE I just thought because you posted this 1 month ago, it shouldn't have changed.
      Please can you briefly state how you obtained the document for your child from the UK?

      I think you can try and upload their NIN documents into the section that asks for the local government documents. Or upload yours into that section.
      They shouldn't be asking too much

      Hello, we did the NIN and it was also processed the same day. We did that in January and paid about £45. They only took the baby's photo and no finger prints
