- Hi Guys!
Just received this beautiful new book by Stratten Peterson - Nature’s Magic. This book has been very kindly sent to me as a pre-release copy and it will be released on August 3rd. It is a book about healing remedies and potions - lots of beautiful flowers and botanics in it with some animals and insects too! And there are a variety of lovely bottles to colour too, which I was super interested in! I am happy to have this in my collection and will likely have to add Mystic Animals as well.

Omg Shelly ! What a beautiful book !!! I have to have it ! I actually already own Mystic Animals but i have to say this one is even more beautiful, and im all about natural healing and remedies, so this is totally up my ally. It will be interesting to see which ones im already familiar with. Can’t wait to get this!

its a beautiful book and the art reminds me Melpomeni Chatzipanagiotou, it has the same vibe of Natures Mandala. It has a good quality but personally I think that to me is a bit repetitive in the illustrations ( of course its dificult to find many subjects when talking about potions and remedies so it isnt the illustratior fault lol) . Great illustrations particularly liked the drawings with frames, birds and animals and interesting the text part where we can learn a bit. Thanks for the review Shell!
Yes, I see what you mean!! It can be a bit repetitive, but I am glad there are some things that make each page different - the animals, the shape of the bottles and some plants! It’a a good thing we have lots of different books and styles to choose from 😂💗

Beautiful book. Wish it wasn't quite so big, but that is just my lack of time to complete large pages. It does give you a ton of room to really get detailed with the images.
Yeh that is true, smaller pages are always handy to get more pages done!! 🤗💗
I own Mystic animals coloring book from the same illustrator and I love their designs and that they add those short descriptions. It's a nice touch and makes those coloring books a bit more special than if those back pages were just left blank. I hope to see more colored pictures from this artist in the future.
Totally agree with you there! I do like the short descriptions they give, gives a different feel to colouring a page and also helps inspire, where needed! 🤗💗

Hi Shelly! I have Mystic Animals and I'm hoping to colour in it next month. I don't think I'll buy Nature's Magic as the subject matter doesn't interest me as much. They are beautiful illustrations though. I believe that Stratten Peterson has a book on the theme of the moon coming out in April 2024. I think the title is Luna Coloring and I'm curious to see what the images will be like.

Aww, I wish I could promise. I know I will colour in it one day, but I am such a slow colourist with limited time on my hands, so I am not sure when I will get round to it...so I wouldn't be able to tell when I can do a colour along on the channel. Sorry to disappoint 😔💗

Mystic Animals was in The Works a few weeks ago for a very good price
I will have to go and check it out at the one near me. Because the artwork is beautiful in this one, and who doesn't like a good bargain 😂💗
It's been many months since I've had interest in a new coloring book! Thanks for sharing. I am wondering though, when I looked it up on google there were lots of used copies being sold on ebay and other book websites... has this already been released? I don't want to get scammed! For reference, I am in the US so it's possible some countries have had different release dates.

Apparently, in US it gets released in March 2024. So maybe some countries have had it release before....in UK it is release on Aug 3rd. But to be honest, if a genuine version has been release elsewhere, I haven't seen any completed pages I recognised from the book, not on instagram either. So I would be too sure if they are genuine books you have seen. Sorry if I haven't helped 🤗💗

I know that you are from Kenya so I was just curious, do you speak another language or do they speak English where you are from? This might sound like a silly question but I genuinely have no idea what languages are spoken, except I know some in Africa speak Swahili. I have always wanted to learn Swahili! But anyway, I've been curious about this so I thought I'd ask!
Ohhh there are lots of languages in Africa. I predominantly spoke in English. However, in Kenya, the local language spoken the most is Swahili, and yes I can speak some Swahili. 🤗💗
