Well, I think most people would just like to have normal skin. lol Not too oily that your makeup gets oily and melts off, but not too dry that everything looks dry and cakey on your skin. Normal skin is the perfect in between.

Me. About the only makeup I wear is eye shadow and highlighter... with the occasional mascara and liquid lipstick... and that's when I wear makeup... which is usually only when I feel like it and have the time in the morning (I'd rather sleep in as long as I can lol)
Love the MUG eyeshadows you used. So pretty! MUG has always been my favorite eyeshadows. And the MUGxKathleenLights highlighter has always been my go-to in my kit.
You can get that highlighter palette on MUG website for $15!!!!! It says "damaged" but there was absolutely nothing wrong with mine. (Read the reviews).

I have oily skin and I've noticed that hydrating your skin is just as important as if you have dry skin. If you don't properly hydrate your face will try to produce even more oils to compensate. I use oils sometimes but mostly water based moisturizers. The key for me is to moisturize a lot and let it sit for a while then apply makeup and use matte makeup. And powder A LOT.
The make up look is stunning. I think I am in love with the Makeup Geek shadows and blush. And to this day I still use the NYX butter glosses. They are absolutely a favorite!

I have combo oily/sensitive skin and I live in Southern Cali, and one time I went back to Rhode Island in the winter time and my skin was so dry and felt so tight and uncomfortable. Once I went back to Cali my skin was back to how it normally is and after that experience I can see why you want oily skin lol! You have beautiful skin though and also love you Kathleen. :)
