No one does a city series like you do, and I’m excited to see this series. Especially since Denver has been a controversial city and getting flack over the migrant crisis. I can only imagine the time and money you have invested in this new documentary. Also that Laramer Square area is extremely lucky to survive Urban Renewal which was a horrific failure of federal spending that destroyed historic downtown areas in the late 60s and early 70s turning glorious architectural areas that are foot traffic friendly in to parking friendly mid century strip malls that now usually are only filled with tattoo parlors bars and Chinese restaurants.

I’m a native of Denver and it’s always had a homeless problem. I would catch the rtd growing up and saw wild things because of the sheer craziness out there. Everything went down hill once 420 was recreationally legalized. There was a mass influx of people and it raised the economic disparity amongst people. I left 8+ years ago because I knew it was only going to get worse.

At 50:51 you went past the D&F (Daniels & Fishers) tower which is all that remains of the Daniels and Fishers department store.
The store was one of the first in the city to provide goods for the frontier families (much like Sears, Roebuck & Co). The tower is
part of the Tabor Center - that was built in the mid-80's. The story of Horace Tabor and his mistress Baby Doe is another part of
Denver historical past. At one time the tower was the tallest structure between St. Louis and San Francisco.

part of the state is also spectacular...There is a mountain range right in the same region.
The quiet here is very soothing and you can really unwind and just enjoy the quiet .............

You can get to Arora, Arvada, Golden, Littleton all by bus it's cheaper then taking the light rail back in 2012 it would cost 10$ to get to and from Littleton by light rail vs 2.50 by bus.
