To see everything you need 2 days. They opened a new cafeteria so you can have lunch there! No fees! The most visited free attraction in OHIO. (Next door is Huffman prairie when the Wright brothers flew their gliders)
If you like US military aircraft go to this museum. Some say it's better than the Smithsonian...it certainly has more aircraft. It's historically accurate, family oriented, so clean you could eat off the floors and the volunteers are very knowledgeable. Plus, it's free. Tax Dollars well spent! I've been there many times and I enjoy it more each time.
Sure -- I wouldn't disparage Udvar Hazy. I admit my bias toward Air Force aircraft makes Wright-Patt even better for me, as a concentrated dose of what I like. Thanks for watching and commenting.
They don't usually have all those canopy/panels open like this. Born in Dayton, been to the museum when some of these were still outside back in the 1960s. Mom worked here(Wright Field) with the Signal Corps during WW2. Sadly she passed this year at 98. She said the officers were jerks. (She was fresh out of high school, so you can guess the situation)
Impressive! I've seen the museum's drone footage (which is excellent), but I'm surprised that they'd allow anyone else to risk banging into one of the aircraft. Regarding the aircraft on display... nice to see the Streak Eagle and the Boeing X-32.
More aircraft added since I was last there. Thank you. Great video
You are welcome. Thanks for watching!
,,Super 👍👍
Awesome shots my friend!! Great job! Hope you’re doing well!
Erik, good to hear from you. This footage was shot by Ken LaRock, who does the drone work for the museum. Next weekend for me: Warbird Roundup.

Very cool buddy! Hope you have fun and can’t wait to see what you shoot!
Excellent !! Woo!
Glad you enjoyed it.
I like. Wish it was longer and slower with captions of the aircraft shown.
Would be awesome to be able to visit one day. Great video as usual. 👍

Yes, I have to say this is my favorite of all air museums.
Except Udvar Hazy. It is just as good as that National USAF Museum.

Thanks for watching, and adding a bit of Wright Field family history.
