- In this video, I am going to review the FORCLAZ 40L TRAVEL 100 Backpack. I think this is the best travel backpack for a minimalist you can buy. It's great value at on $35 (India) or £35 (UK) or £50 on Aliexpress which ship to almost any country.
Forget the Osprey 40L, it's too expensive and has a bad shape. This is the best backpack for carry on in the world.

So that is all the items that I carry. It comes in at about 12Kg but I will be wearing some of these clothes so I can get them under 10kg if needed for flights.

I've looked at a lot of bags in the last few months and this is by far the one that has ALL the features i want: nice hip belt, load lifters, flip top, carry-on size, and no-bullshit empty interior (we don't need a million organizer pockets). Maybe the pouch for the laptop should be improved as most of the times, the laptop is required to be unpacked at the airport.

I have been eyeing new travel gear for sometime I had looked at cabinzero but its just a dump pocket without a sternum strap or load lifters I much prefer this hiking/travel hybrid backpack cheers

I got one after i watched your review. Apparently the only gripe i noticed is the shoulder strap paddings are too short for me. Probably im just a big guy and if i adjust the bag according to my proportions, the shoulder strap adjustment buckle end just near my shoulder. Nevertheless it is a great bag, just try it on first to you when it is filled to the brim before buying one.

Hi, Nice review. I am a budget traveller too so your videos are really useful to me (that cable car ride in Croatia is a right rip off!) I'm 178cm tall, male so I got a few questions for you. Does the hip belt actually sit on your hips or is it higher up? Do you get any shoulder or back pain when using this? How long can you walk with it on before it becomes too painful/uncomfortable? Is the metal frame easy to remove? Thanks, Subbed! BTW it's 1999 rupees (£21) in India now.
It is slightly higher but I'm 186.
You can walk for 30 minutes with up 10 kg easily, over that can be uncomfortable.
I don't get backpain but if you want more comfort go with Osprey.
£21 is insane, I think it's going to be discontinued soon as it's hard to buy in Europe now.

Yes, you can as long you keep it to the weight of the airline. Dont over pack it. 7-8kg is enough.

Yes it's big enough for a hike. I mean I would buy it for that sole purpose but it's fine for the odd occasion.
I would personally buy an Osprey for that purpose. Maybe the kestrel??

No, there not unfortunately. It's a shame but for the price I'm not complaining. You could pay $250 for a pack like this.
