They should have pointed out that her funds go to pay for them to do their jobs, and that they were doing their jobs by checking on her welfare at first, and by arresting her later.
I don't get people trying to battle these cops. When you're in trouble with the law its very simple: cooperate, answer only short and to the point, but preferably say nothing at all, and then just call the lawyer and let them handle it. You have a right to not say anything btw as long as you cooperate you should be fine till the lawyer shows up and talks for you.
because people are stubborn. It's good to have a sense of righteousness when it comes to it being unlawful. Like if a cop is needlessly aggressive, or you literally haven't done anything wrong (a bystander to something bigger, for example, and thus being mixed up in it accidentally), it's good to hold your ground (within reason, there's never a reason for violence especially when it comes to if a cop is violent toward you as you'll likely be worse off, but that's very situation-orientated isn't it). But I agree, if you're guilty of something, just admit it and get on with your punishment since if you lie, you'll be caught anyway. also don't get the aggression? Why is the first clip screaming at people and clearly not listening? Just calm down, my god.
@@kazu9445 Right or wrong, it's unlikely a cop will ever back down, so "holding your ground" will probably only escalate the situation. At first I felt indignant at the cops' mistake, but quickly realized that they were NOT going to just let me go. So I found my zen moment and went with it cooperatively, not resisting even when they cuffed me and took me to the station. Once there, it didn't take long for them to realize they had the wrong guy. I was pissed off about it, but later realized they were just doing their job to keep the community safe and I got sucked-in by an unfortunate coincidence.
