My Father was the Dad of 9 children. Yes, when we messed up, he smacked our backsides. He was a logger and very strong. It stung. I can't even imagine what he would have done if someone struck one of us! Wow! He disciplined his children. If we messed up, he'd take us back and make us apologize, then smack our butts. If he ever said to me, "get in the house" my sneakers would have left rubber in the dirt driveway toward the house.
Not only that, but also potentially life threatening. That poor lady had no place to go, no clothes to change into, no place to warm up, no shelter, no nothing... Homeless people are literally looked at with disgust, like they are rats or something. Businesses putting rounded spikes on the side of their steps to stop homeless having a place to laydown at night. Some places getting rid of benches in the park and putting "Lean on" benches so there's no place to actually sit/lay down. If places spent the money on actually helping people have a designated place to sleep, it would fix all the issues and probably save money..

My guess is, the phone had a traumatic fall ending in water. He tried brown rice to repair it, thinking that magic ninjas pop out of the rice and scrub and repair all the components. Not realizing H20 damage, can cause all kinds of issues when added to electronics. It did not work, so he brought it here and they repaired the problem. In the mean time, he has either used Bing or asked a braniac friend what do do. They said his issue, was that he used brown rice not white rice. Some people really lack empathy for human life... My step father was homeless during the winter months in Utah where it gets extremely cold. Constantly having to figure out where he's allowed to stay that's dry so he can get an hour of sleep. I'm from SE Alaska in a town with 30k ppl and no roads in/out so you have to fly or boat in/out, so its small community and because of the Temps and the weather (it's a temperate rainforest and also the town is on a channel and the winds get crazy there) there's hardly any homeless ppl out on the streets. So I really didn't understand how bad ppl were treated until I was in it myself, and it's drastically changed how I view the world now. It made me grow up and mature real quick, but fuck it was hard as hell just to survive. In the beginning I was still on chemotherapy and any food I could buy I just ended up getting sick and I was so skinny you could see every bone in my body. I wouldn't wish homelessness on my worst enemy. Truly. No human should have to experience what so many do on a daily basis.

The woman has been in front of the business for months and the owner before begged her to move out cos she was disrupting business and she refused even after sometimes he gives her food. As a former homeless person, I can confirm that there were people like the first one. But very very few. The amount of people who helped me out overshadowed all the Karens and Kevins that talked down to me.

I'm from SE Alaska in a town with 30k ppl and no roads in/out so you have to fly or boat in/out, so its small community and because of the Temps and the weather (it's a temperate rainforest and also the town is on a channel and the winds get crazy there) there's hardly any homeless ppl out on the streets. So I really didn't understand how bad ppl were treated until I was in it myself, and it's drastically changed how I view the world now. It made me grow up and mature real quick, but fuck it was hard as hell just to survive. In the beginning I was still on chemotherapy and any food I could buy I just ended up getting sick and I was so skinny you could see every bone in my body. I wouldn't wish homelessness on my worst enemy. Truly. No human should have to experience what so many do on a daily basis.

As a former homeless person, I can confirm that there were people like the first one. But very very few. The amount of people who helped me out overshadowed all the Karens and Kevins that talked down to me.

Personally I think both parties were not being professional. It's no ok to throw kitchen supplies in a restaurant but it's also not ok to go to work knowing you can't do your job. This is why more places need pregnancy leave or something similar.
