the woman who got punched by security, she got an entire cart full, about $1000 worth of stuff, had a TV, kitchen equipment, groceries, toiletries, etc etc, and at checkout, she asked the girl to just pay for it with charity. when the girl said she couldn't do it, she asked for a manager. the night manager came out, because it was 9pm, so the big manager wasn't there, obviously! and they couldn't do anything either. and like, honestly this woman is CLEARLY not part of any charity organization, a church, nothing. she just wants free groceries and is using current public social events to attempt to get them. eventually, management turns her over to security because she keeps trying to leave with the now bagged groceries. security eventually goes into his office, she's already pushing him, swinging at him, and he goes into his office and shuts the door, she comes running through the hall after him, runs into the office, and he punches her.

"The lawsuit did name two doctors who cared for the woman: Gear and Dr. Thanh Nguyen. Gear surrendered his medical license. The Arizona Medical Board opted not to take any disciplinary action against Nguyen, who reached a confidential settlement with the r*pe victim and her family.
Gear voluntarily gave up his medical license in a consent order in 2019. He was the longtime physician for the woman, who has severe physical and cognitive disabilities. She was r*ped and gave birth while a resident at Hacienda HealthCare in Phoenix.
The woman's baby is now living with her parents in the San Carlos Apache community. The woman did not return to Hacienda HealthCare and is now living in a different Arizona facility.
In his judgment, Campagnolo wrote that the failures of other defendants in the lawsuit, "pale in relation to Dr. Gear, who had a professional obligation to (the victim) that spanned 26 years with full knowledge of the identifiable risks to (the victim) due to her complete disability."

It happens more than people think. It’s so important to visit family in nursing homes. I have a friend whose mom is in memory care and there were multiple times that another male patient SA’d her with one incident where my friend had to manage it herself. Staff are usually untrained. Her mom and the other patient both had severe dementia. The lack of supervision was scary.

She then demanded that the store manager give her the items for free and when that didn’t happen she got in the manager’s face and started screaming at her. The security guard tried to intervene but the lady continued getting in his face and he tried multiple times to back away and she kept coming at him. He retreated to the back office where she threw open the door and kept coming at him. He told her numerous times to get out and back off but she kept coming at him and then finally he hit her. I would never condone hitting a woman but in this case I really don’t blame him cause he really had no other option cause he was cornered in the office with her between him and the door and she wouldn’t stop.

Keeping the peace means not making a bigger ruckus than the band. They could have fined him for disturbing the peace and loitering, basically write a ticket and let him go and school board maybe fires him. Enticement, solicitation, corruption of minors, are all felony level crimes.
