Nike/Adidas have gotten increasingly complacent so much so they've been putting minimal effort into their basketball shoes bc they know consumers (in the West) are still going to buy those crap.

Just received these this week. One of our student athletes has been working out in them all summer. My only complaint was availability. Ordered them directly from Anta and received them in about 2-3 weeks. I feel like the American market is a bit stale and could use a model like this to shake it up at retail.

Dope looks like the old school Adidas Tortion in the midsole, especially underneath. Definitely diggin the galaxy colorway similar to the Luka 2…both dudes are gonna be killing it this year.

What’s good is that the model also has a team version, with full-length aflash foam instead (if im not mistaken). So yeah anta does a good job in making takedown models still with good tech. Also, the ZUP 4s are the best looking anta shoes today imo and the tech is also crazy, and the skyline models are also budget friendly but pack premium tech features (just opted for the allcity 11 instead tho lmao)

I need some bounce. Can’t wait for their growth here in the US. Klay isn’t marketable. It’s clear. And with their prices for the Klay shoe, it was never gonna work and marketing suffers. They won’t move product until they invest in real marketable athletes and build around their vision. Kyrie is PERFECT for any brand so hopefully they don’t fumble this opportunity.

In my experience outdoor soles are more durable but softer indoor soles are a bit tackier for indoor surfaces. So you'll def get a slight performance boost with indoor soles on an indoor court v.s. outdoor soles on an indoor court.

And these outdoor shoes is also capable of indoor using.(In most of the cases, it's even better in gripping). Sometimes we don't understand why. Brands like under armour, you know the brand new curry shoes, They may grip well on indoor courts, but they're not durable at all. We have a joke thatEvery crossover you do with these curry shoes you'll lose several bucks (Because the shoes are going to its end earlier And soon you will lose the shoes, its original price.) Take me myself as an example, many of my oversea sneakers, I give them up because the the rubber is done, There will be a hole underneath the shoe, At the place where The bone of my big toe lies. But the rest of the shoe is still in very good condition. And you may notice that Nike keys chinese version shoes they have “XDR”xtra durable rubber. Well, the other version you always have transparent plastic outsole. Well, i maybe i'm not answer you pertinently above. So the chinese shoes recently Always don't have the gripping problem. That was problem many years ago. They have Made every effort To dodge it. btw, China has many brands, and their competition is very fierce.You can see they Already put these carbon fibers on very cheap shoes. Maybe it’s the resellers and the low stock numbers but size 15 & 16 are usually the first to sell out in the bigger brands so why the smaller companies exclude these sizes is beyond me.
Now into my 4th anta and li ning pair in less than a year. My anta GH3 held up for over 50 games / drills 70 hours, impressive! This looks just as durable. My only issue with anta is the narrow and very curved shoe last. And despite all the hours put in, and going half size up, I still get numbness on my small toes after about 15 minutes of playong. Li ning fits me well. I fitted the stg5, KT’s, even the new UF models and think all will numb my toes same as the gh3. I highly suggest you guys fit this in person

Love the look of these, but I hate that it looks like we're only getting lows. I've stuck with Kyrie's this long because I loved them, but also because it's one of the few guard shoes that was still a mid. I have an old ankle injury and need as much support there as I can get. Seems like everyone's moving to lows now unfortunately.
Nike really just keeps taking L’s on L’s on L’s and thought they did something by terminating Kyrie’s contract, all they did was lose one of their best signature athletes who had the best signature athlete basketball shoe line of the 2010’s to a growing company who in this short time with them has already brought a ton of consumers and attention… good job Nike

it's cause anta & li-ning are chinese companies, they don't have the price bump of other brands that're Western/European.
