Crouching Jedi Hidden Sith
Dan Casey voice washed over me like an incredible wave of relief.
What if Darth Tenebrous comes out of the shadows playing a dark villainous version of the song Cantina band on one of those flute like instruments that his species commonly likes to play 😂😂😂
Carrie-Anne Moss is the secret Sith Lord.
my thoughts exactly
@wesleymons Like it's not obvious, but it's clearly Master and Apprentice Vibes. We see the Apprentice in the trailer.
Gonna take a guess based on other names … Darth Antagonist.
It's been Darth Jar Jar all along!
Oh good Dan is back was getting a bit worried
Among us... Star Wars edition
It’s not her, that was a man’s hand grabbing the red saber, the assassin didn’t appear to be force trained or she wasn’t showing her powers. This is going to be awesome.
People who hate Star Wars sure do comment on a lot of Star Wars content.
Looks cool. Gonna give it a shot
Might not be sith
True. But there are definitely Sith out there at this time. Plus no mere acolyte could take on like five jedi.
The showrunner said Silth will be involved. Obviously, we don't know how 100%. But we know they will to a certain degree.
They could also recontextualize that some Jedi knew the sith were still active and chose to cover it up, similar to the discovery the Jedi council made during the Clone War that Darth Sidious orchestrated the entire war, and they chose to keep it a secret and continue fighting.
Welcome back, Dan!
or 3: some of the Jedi could figure out they are dealing with a Sith but decides to hide it from the rest of the order to avoid panic, which is something they already did before in the High Republic when they learned about the Nameless
Or maybe it's non-Star Wars fans who don't care about canon
@@borisbalkan707they also literally do it in the clone wars, deciding to cover up that “dooku created the clones” to not cause panic. How far fetched is it. The director is a star wars fan and has a knowledge of the EU
@@kb-tm2hm A jedi master on the Jedi Council said the Sith have been extinct for a millenium. Yet there is now a Sith killing Jedi 100 years before the Phantom Menace. You must not be a Star Wars fan.
@@borisbalkan707 Dark side user does not = sith…. Where in the trailer does it say the jedi think a sith is killing jedi? Its a 1.5 min teaser trailer for fuck sake. Give it a fucking chance, the problem is people already gave up before they even saw the trailer
@@borisbalkan707 ki adi mundi*
Here's me hoping that "The Acolyte" is about a force sensitive who was kicked out of the Jedi (Amandla Stenberg) searching FOR the Acolyte to kill them. They've a list and working their way through it one Jedi at a time.
David Harewood, who played the Martian Manhunter in CW's various Arrowverse series, is rumored to be in "The Acolyte" in a "small but pivotal role". What if he shows up in the last episode or two as a Sith Lord? The hand in the trailer looked brown to me, and Mr. Harewood is a Canadian of African descent. He also has a deep, resonant voice that would be perfect for a Sith Lord. He may very well be a "spare" apprentice employed by Tenebrous while he gets the teenager, Plagueis, up to speed.
I was waiting for you Mysterious Sith villain theory.
“They’re interested, let’s screw with the characters and watch them lose their minds. They’ll keep watching, subscribing and buying!”😂
Anybody else remember when a light saber could only be used In A Hand and wasn't supposed to be able to operate flying around or via the force?
The only thing I’m interested in this new series is who Abigail Thorne is gonna play?! I love PhilosophyTube and I’m glad she’s now entered the professional acting world!
It’s not Plagueis, It’s either Tenebrous or they’ve created new lore.
No, it's not the first High Republic show, Young Jedi Adventures is.
It was literally said in Rebels by Kanan that Sabine wasn't force sensitive.
Remember all those theories about Marrok being Starkiller when people were watching Ahsoka? Perhaps it's better to not expect the villain to be some familiar character adapted from the old Legends continuity.
While it's true that Ki-Adi-Mundi said the Sith have been extinct for a Millenium, they also seemed very sure about the Rule of Two at the end of the film. Wasn't the purpose of the Rule of Two to help hide their presence from the Jedi? Or am I just making that up 🤔...? If so, the Jedi's knowledge of the Rule would surely suggest that, at least some of them, were aware of their presence 🤷♂.
I was rewatching ATLA and I said "probably earth benders"
time line is during time momin exists and Tenebrous exist
Mother Aniseya is the likely candidate.
If u listen to mundi, he's kinda sayin but askin a question at the same time. His inflection in his voice. It's like they've been gone for a millennium, right everybody right. He's not stating anything he's truly questioning that they've been gone for 1k yrs
Thanks, Dan! 🌑
Or the Jedi lied and hid the existence of Sith from this time period in order to avoid fear being spread and inadvertently creating more fallen Jedi.
damn, that would fit into the moral grey the series seems to be portraying
Good theories
It was Jar Jar Binks all along.
It’s Trinity duhh
It’s MACE
There Palpatines in a trench-coat🤣
Darth Not Appearing In This Film
Now… how long does it take timewise for someone to become a ‘legend’? If this is only about 100 years before the prequels I’m guessing it’s not Darth Plagueis. And since the series is called THE acolyte, I venture to presume it’s singular… because otherwise, the Jedi would have known the Sith were still around. The lightsaber is red… the rule of two… so my guess is, it’s about a Sith apprentice being too eager to change the status quo.
More then likely the jedi supress it or dismiss the sith as not being authentic
WHO SAID IT'S A SITH?!?!!?
I hope disney dont butcher this one 🙏🏽😮
Bith Sith’s? Jedi made out of paper? Who knew? Ki Adi Mundi
I beg that it is revan
The problem is the sith has been in hiding, so much they had not been seen in a 1000 years. So if this is set 100 years before Phantom Menace (or approx 130ish years BBY), this can only be Darth Tenebrous, and will literally have to kill everyone so there is no evidence that they were seen. Plagueis would be too young. Darth Ramage.....maybe... (who I believe died around the time Acolyte is set).
Or could this be a dark jedi which is probably unlikely considering the lightsaber was definitely looking like a sith red lightsaber from the trailer. Pretty confusing how to how this is going to be canon.
Another theory is a rogue sith who Tenebrous and Ramage wouldnt know about, but this would also be unlikely.
Another issue is by this time Sith had not been seen for 900ish years, are you telling me that not one single Jedi thought to have informed the Jedi Council of this sighting by making a quick call? Considering by the time of Phantom Menace they had not been seen for 1000 yrs.
Hmm I think the whole series will only focuses to that ninja girl wannabe, like obviously she's the sith acolyte, according to wiki these sith acolyte's aren't official but are hope to join sith.. so probably he was hired by darth tenebrous to assassinate everyone who tries to investigate the sith and ofc covering their tracks. and in the end of the series the real sith will reveal and kills all remaning jedi's that are part of "INVESTIGATION" thingy
Bestest Sith eva and all the other Sith need to wake to the fact that is how it has always been.
All the theories that it's not a Sith are predicated on the assumption the show will bother to maintain continuity with a relatively minor plot point from a 25 year-old movie. Occam's razor says it's a Sith because Disney says so don't ask questions.
The Jedi were the one's that created the Sith!!!!!!!!! The first Sith Lords were just Jedi that went rouge because they asked too many questions, & The High Council told them to shut-up!
The Sith wanted to help people at first & using the Dark Side didn't mean you were evil right away! Look at Darth Revan. He was a Jedi that tried to get to The Jedi High Council to help out in The Mandalorians Wars, but the planets in need weren't part of the Republic so they didn't want to help. He turned to the Dark Side & became a Sith Lord & basically took half the Jedi with him to help. He was strong enough to resist the Dark Side & saved everyone, but was ultimately betrayed by his friend Alek (aka Darth Malek)
The High republic ended, in legends,1000 years ago, not 100, but hey, another thing Disney is screwing up.
Could it not be a young palpatine when he was Plagueis' apprentice?
No. Wrong timeline.
@@JBford what does that mean? We're not dealing with alternate timelines. Both Yoda and palpatine are alive at this time. It's just a hundred years or so BBY.
Impossible, Palpatine wasn't born at the time of the Acolyte. The show is like 132BBY before Phantom Menace. This is a hundred year before that starts. Look at the Phantom Menace, he's not that old, that's a big gap from 32BBY to 132BBY because he would've looked old and decrepit which *MAKES NO SENSE TO WHAT YOU SAID.* He's not talking about alternative timelines, he's talking about a part of the timeline you're referring, he never said anything being changed.
Is this series also going to have 5 minutes per episode of people in thought, staring off into the horizon?
Maybe but itd be better than the rise of skywalker
I can't even get myself excited anymore. Not because this doesn't look entertaining or anything, I'm sure it will be. Because already fans are ripping this a new one before it's even out. Discussing this franchise isn't fun anymore. Save for videos like this where Dan makes everything nerdy fun to talk about.
Plageus
Me first
The first Night Mother. We are seeing the origin of The Night Sisters. Everything they are showing us is a mislead. Aboleth seeks freedom.
This is all setting up for Ashoka season 2.
Bro your view to sub count
i see dark skin, IT'S MACE WINDU!
So they can around Ep. I they are gonna say its suprr powerful force using cult that uses the darkside but theyre not sith. And just so happen to use red lightsabers. Fuck disney!
Or, you know, the Sith is just gonna murder every Jedi that witnessed them.
You're jumping to completely unsupported theories with exactly zero evidence.
Are people blind? That siths hand is black!
It's trinity
Its a black glowe, put your glasses on buddy!
The most important question will never be answered.....
"WHY this exists "????
The show runner already said that this is gonna show how the Jedi get as bad as they were in the prequels, so actually, yeah, that's already been answered.
But keep making up shit to be mad about.
Quit getting us hyped up for this drivel. You know damn well Plagueis or Tenebris won’t be in this show lol
Remember Kids, the only villain here, is Kathleen Kennedy. Angry she is. Good for Star Wars she is not
My answers is who cares... Its looking like the only people that will watch this show will hate watch it.
Oh so it was Ki-Adi-Mundi who was wrong huh? The Jedi master on the Jedi Council in a canon movie. That's who was wrong and not the idiots who wrote this stupid show huh?
I won't watch this. This trend among modern feminists where they imbue every show or movie with misandry, which has become a problem for fantasy and sci-fi fans like me. What's worse is that if we comment on it, we're often called misogynists. This needs to stop.
It's also extremely hypocritical and devious of them. They've become the very thing they hated in men. Stories used to have great women and men as characters, but now we see an all-woman casting and a repeating theme of demeaning men. True equality would equally represent both males and females, not just one or the other. This is creating more cultural problems than it's solving.
As a published author, I think Hollywood needs to stop lazily shoving their hypocritical political beliefs into their productions. It breaks the immersion and creates more division and culture wars. Good writers with skill and care can create uplifting stories that have great plots, world-building, and character development. This is just fan fiction with surface-level writing that uses virtue signaling to attack anyone who critiques it.
Don’t care - looks meh at best
looks lame!
Kennedy Star Wars has had about four times the movies that never happen under Kennedy than movies that did
Zack Snider Star Wars
Boba Fett movie
Star Wars Taika Waititi
Star wars trilogy by Rian Johnson
Rangers of the New Republic that Kennedy fired the Star Gina Carano
Episode nine by Colin Trevarrow
The Obi Wan Kinobi trilogy
The Benioff-Wiess star wars movie
Star wars by Kevin Feigi
Rogue Squadron
The Rey movie which starts a trilogy
Now The Acolyte
Disney Star Wars might think about actually releasing a couple of these just for the change of pass
You have canceled about four times as many movies as you have released
I think you should get passed the female male controversy and forget about the SJW politics and just make good movies
I am just happy Jedi and Sith are back. Fuck shit like Andor or Boba Fett 💀 worst shows ever.
This show is going to be horrible pretty much like everything Disney has made
The villan is woke Ideology Lol
✨ *~Who Cares~* ✨
No-one cares.
Who is the villain? Kathleen Kennedy!
ClownWarsTheory: Darth Woke!!😱😱
Oh no, non-white, non-male people on screen, how horrible! /S
Trying so hard not to include white men in this.....
Considering there's a white dude in the cast, you really just wanna make shit up to be mad about, don't you?
Wait wait wait...somehow it was Palpatine
