What the hell! The title should be "history of the show", which i would NOT have watched! Almost at the end did they reveal that Patricia concealed her pregnancies. Something that happens in a lot of shows. Total waste of time!
There would have been no show if Debra had been italian.She would have understood Marie.The closeness of italian families would have been familiar to her.She seemed to get upset all the time, but an italian girl would have realized where Marie was coming from.
I still reruns because of Patrica Heaton. Thought she could played in a movie aa younger sister of Stepfanie Kramer, an actress active decade earlier and both resemble each other.
I felt like Debra was an atypical wife and mother. Not very loving with her (sometimes jerky) husband, and somewhat disinterested in her children. But the children were never meant to be a focus of the show.
I think most of the loving parts of their fictional lives were behind the scenes....we saw the normal parent exhaustion and frustration used as comedy and drama...
I feel like if I was married to Debra i would style her hair and do her make-up. she would make comments about me owning leopard underwear and a leopard speedo. She would probably make comments about me trying on my moms clothes
