As a kid native to the area, it's surreal to see how accurate the locals are as if I was downtown. I don't even think people from around here knows this cartoon exist, and I appreciate Krause for bringing my city to life, even if it fell through with the network.
thank you for making this, i now know about utica cartoon and i love it, the artstyle is so charming, and the animations is frame by frame which i like. I'll prob watch the pilot later
imagine the brains behind regular show and utica made something together today, that'd definitely be interesting but i think since the times have changed it'd be completely different
Given the current state of Cartoon Network, Utica Cartoon being greenlit as an original series could give the network a chance to regain its glory. I'd even be down for this show having a crossover with the easily-compared-to Regular Show. Nevertheless, you did splendid on your video.
@@shakingamez6091 the plane crashing into the building could've been misinterpreted for 9/11. Same with any episode about an illness or characters getting sick, which people might quickly associate it with the nightmare that was the COVID-19 pandemic.
Hot rake: As someone who watched Utica Cartoon when it first got shown on Cartoon Network's Big Pick Weekend(those were the glory days, I swear), I can say with full confidence that if it had been allowed to continue, it would have been better than Regular Show. Dan and Micah were much more likable characters than Mordecai and Rigby. They had a better relationship as friends and with their other friends and were just far more tolerable characters overall. Its a shame we'll never get to see how far Utica Cartoon would have gone.
I can def see your point, but I think it's an unfair comparison. Utica Cartoons setting is very grounded and chill while Regular Show took place in a world of chaos where anything could happen at any moment. Mordecai and Rigby are kinda designed to be annoying characters as that's the dynamic of the show, they get bored and wrap themselves up in giant messes and have to run to their boss & coworkers to help them, and by the end it ends up being kinda genius for their character arcs because they both mature in different ways throughout. I definitely agree that Micah and Dan have more likeable personalities, but I think the shows premises are way too different to compare and say one would be better than the other.
Hello Everyone! Thankyou for 200 subscribers!
I swear small RUclipsrs surprise me, this is a great video
@@zombiestriker5793 appreciate it!
Small RUclipsrs are always the best at cartoon videos fr.
I really like chill big city cartoons, like Hey Arnold or even obscure shows like Oswald.
If Utica Cartoon were Regular Show, Dan and Mica would've had to fight the hot dog vender in a modded hot dog cart styled after Robotnik's eggmobile
Imp inc.
Sound like helluva boss company
The art style of Utica Cartoon looks like it reminds me of the works of Klasky Csupo.
I see you everywhere on RUclips comments!

Thanks!
In my opinion, the Angry Beavers of Nick were just 90's Regular Show. They are way too similar. Reply for connections.
